Nice pub, quite compact and cosy. Was there to see a live band (the brilliant Strange Fashion). There's a big telly up on the wall too if you want some sport. A really good evening out.

More than happy to give The Village Inn five stars. Go visit and support your local pub!We went on a Saturday night in June 2023. A nicely decorated pub that is halfway down hill at south end of Nuxley Road. Small at the front but opens out inside.Drinks are the cheapest in the area and pricing is consistent (some pubs take the p**s and charge you differently every time you order). Bacardi and bottle of coke plus bottle of IPA £8.10. No real ale except bottles.Bar staff and manager Lauren were helpful and friendly. Customers mostly middle aged.There's a long L" shaped bar with wooden floor and plenty of seating
