After 2 year's of a disappointing experience and service at Eyesight in Cottingham, I went to Scriven's also in Cottingham for a full eye test. From the initial telephone conversation booking the appointment, to the conclusion of the eye test, the whole experience was of the highest order. Robert, the gentleman who carried out my full eye test was not only professional in covering every aspect of the eye, explaining every step of the procedure he was carrying out, but extremely friendly, polite and willing to discuss my concerns. In this day and age of money being all that matters, this was a throwback to how personal service used to be.If you need an eye test within the Cottingham area, contact Scriven's, and enjoy the same high quality professional service that I did.

Having a problem with my eyes I needed to see an optician urgently .I telephoned Scrivens and Katherine the optician was able to see me the following day at 12pm and by 1.30 I had an appointment at the Eye Hospital for 2.45. I can't thank her enough ,she was very professional and very helpful and caring. Also the rest of the staff are exceptional and they too are very friendly and caring with great customer service, which is so refreshing in this day and age. I thank them all very much and I would definitely recommend Scrivens !
