Uilebheist Distillery & Brewery

This was a very pleasant tour. Richard was extremely knowledgeable and went deeper into the science and process than some other tours I’ve been on.The operation is brand new, so they don’t have any finished whisky of their own—but their beer is quite good.The architecture and design is also quite interesting. Would recommend!

Absolutely loved this distillery! Emma was our guide and she was very knowledgeable and lots of fun. They won't have their whisky for another year or two but you get to sample their lagers, spirit, and another local whisky. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour!

Had a terrific tour tonight with the knowledgeable and ultra enthusiastic Nicole who told the story warts and all from her own experiences! She was a mine of information who ablely answered all our questions. She is obviously from more of a whisky background but was still so read up on all the brewery processes! In fact she stayed behind 30 mins after her shift ended to make sure we had everything we needed. The tour is not the cheapest around but you are invited to see all the nooks and crannies!Once Nicole left, she introduced us an even more well-informed whisky expert behind the bar (unfortunately, I didn't get his name, but he was originally from Brora?) A thoroughly enjoyable evening amongst people who enjoy their work!

My wife and I had an amazing experience during the tour and hanging out in the tasting room. Emma did a great job during the tour and answering all our questions. Fantastic spot to have a beer and a glass of whisky.

Great micro brewery, we tried the beer flight, reasonably priced and all the beers were tasty. Great selection of whiskey, would guess at 200+ can’t wait to try their own in 2026

NOTE: They do NOT have their own whiskey yet! That will be available around 2026 or so. They do however have a lovely bar and their own locally brewed beer which is one of the best ones I've tasted in whole of Scotland! Try their lager! The tour through the facility was great and informative, also the guide Finlay was really nice and fun guy!

Excellent staff Andy, Nicole and Richard all have amazing knowledge and personality. Make you feel very welcome. Beers tasting great and good atmosphere

Defintely worth a visit if you up in Inverness. A very short walk from the town centre and right on the water. Lovely bar at the back where Nicole was a fabulous host. So welcoming and happy to go through the beers, the process and the plans for the whisky. Excellent way to spend some time in winter.

Visited today, Sunday 19th Nov. I've been before and came in the same way each time. Today it seemed the door was more of a wedged open with a rock, fire exit. Very odd.Barman greeted us. We ordered a flight of beer each. I'd have loved them to have noted down what each beer was instead of telling us....we don't remember important beer info all the time.A lovely visit. Very quiet. Sort out that fire exit

We ended up here by pure chance and felt very comfortable in the tap room. Give 2-star Nicole" a raise
