Horton Country Park
Nice spacious country park, lovely space to walk and explore or just relax. Have purpose built bbqs for hire, through the council, but at £35 an hour and for only four hrs is little steep + costs for having gazebos too.Nice place though

Lovely big park, we managed to see horses, sheep, camels, alpacas and lots of doggies! Great for dpg walking, bike riding and meeting up outside within covid rules lots of friendly people along our walk and free parking which was an absolute bonus! Would visit again

Horton Country Park
It is a very large park that includes a golf course (not in use due to lockdown) and you can see a number of animals through the fence to Hobbledown Farm. It has many pedestrian entrances making it easy to reach on foot from different directions. It can get very muddy in places, and you can hear road noise in some places but in others it can be quite peaceful. It seemed to be very popular with walkers, cyclists, runners and dogs.

The main paths have been much improved in recent years & are wide all weather paths for walking , cycling etc & offer good disabled access. The area is a huge, extensive expanse of beautiful countryside with clear signage & mileage . The Chessington Countryside Walk takes in some of the park. A really wonderful quiet space to relax & unwind .

The wonderful Horton Country Park 1½ miles west of Epsom, is easy to get to if you are driving with plenty of parking spaces. It is a wonderful place to visit as it has various paths around the grounds and is stunningly beautiful with a little sunshine. Horton Park makes for a great walk in the cooler of weathers too however, you will need to wrap up warm. You can choose what paths you take and set yourself a walking mileage plan. This place is great for walkers and cyclists and a wonderful spot for families. There is plenty of space to find a very quiet area for your picnic. The seasons have so much to offer with changing views as the year progresses. We have been going for years and love every visit. We do cheat and take coffee and snacks, great for picnics. Barbecue stands can be hired, not sure on price as we have always takes our own picnic.I am always armed with my camera and always come back with some wonderful pictures, this time we saw the end of the Bluebells season, spotting white bells too lol.Keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife as it is all over and you have to be alert to capture animal antics.

Lots of paths and links to different counties and a good look at nature at it's best. I feel so lucky to live so close to a place this special and picturesque. Always out in the elements here and long may it stay a nice place to be.

Horton Country Park
Lovely place to go for a relaxing walk, or go for a nice 5k run. Dogs every where which is great fun for all the family. Respect the forest for all to enjoy and we'll all get along. Please don't feed the horses. Enjoy the park.

Excellent, varied natural environment and wildlife - interesting all year and well maintained and generally accessible on the main paths.Shame the mobile food/drink van has moved on - that was the icing on the cake - literally.
