Priceless ! April 2022.... I randomly chose Martyn having found a video tape of the Canberra coming home From war with our son on board as a cadet officer .... it was so damaged with mould ... Martyn sent it back on dvd .... delighted we could watch again . It was 40 years old ! I then sent a cine reel off to Martyn 50+ years on cine film .. again priceless could nt believe we could watch again ! And another video with mould .... 30 plus years ! Well I have spent the best part of two days in tears but for all the right reasons! Martyn converted 2 family videos taken 1993-1997 and there is all kinds of footage of my Son as a baby and all of our relatives who have sadly passed on. What a trip down memory lane and priceless footage to keep forever! Martyn got these videos converted and back to me in under a week and for a great price too, I can highly recommend. Thanks so much! I have several reels of family 8mm and super 8mm cine film dating back 50 years, I had considered getting them transferred to DVD etc over the years as I am aware that they do not store well and decay over time. The cost was always prohibitive however so I did nothing until recently. By chance I came across M C Video, liked the web site and phoned Martyn for advice. He was exceptional, in taking time to speak, answer all my queries, and the price he quoted for the service offered was unbelievably low compared to all previous attempts elsewhere. I took the chance. The results were fantastic! High quality reproduction even allowing for some degradation in the film stock, carefully sorted and presented in chronological order, and even with some very pleasant, appropriate and unintrusive background music which set the whole thing off to perfection. To say I am absolutely delighted with the whole experience is an understatement. I now have (in mp4 format) irreplaceable memories which I can share with my family instead of the whole lot being left mouldering and forgotten in a cupboard. The man did a fabulous job and I cannot praise him too highly. He even updated my by text message at every stage along the way, confirming the receipt of my films initially and again when they were sent back to me. Incidentally, he also fixed and transferred to memory stick a VHS C tape of family stuff which had become damaged as the tape was cut and crinkled. I thoroughly recommend Martyn for anyone thinking about using his services. He is a true gent and total professional - and pleasant with it. M.C Video have done an excellent job in converting and transferring my 25-30 year old VHS tapes to DVD's and pen-sticks.The results in terms of picture quality have far exceeded my expectations.I have no hesitation in recommending M.C Video to anyone who has VHS tapes that need transferring to an updated format.
