Click and collect is an absolute shamble. You can't use the actual click and collect parking you have to fight for a parking space near a poorly lit grotty back alley behind the shop and behind all the online grocery vans, who are reversing in and out all the time (not their fault, stupid arrangement of the store itself) the staff then bring it out to you on a sheet of plastic on wheels with no handles that's not even shin height so I had to unstack all the boxes one by one, bending down to even move anything (and some are so heavy especially at such an awkward height, even for me who is fairly short). I've got back troubles and this was absolutely agony. Then they expected me to wheel it back all hunched over?? If I'd left it it would've been a hazard especially since you have to park by the delivery trucks. Used to be such a convenient service, but its been 'broken' for months and months now. Today was the last straw. Wont be back again. Don't do click and collect if you can't facilitate it and serve your customers properly. Making them hunch over something the height of a skateboard and expecting them to maneuver heavy boxes and then move the thing back again in a busy carpark is an accident waiting to happen.

Very impressive store. Nicely laid out, no problem finding items. Again, it is a very impressive store. Highly recommended.

Absolutely disgusted went in to buy sushi ate a couple of pieces whilst walking out and realised they served me out of date chicken when I went back, they didn’t even apologise and asked me if I wanted another one when I checked they were all out of date. They didn’t even apologise and sent me out with a credit note to hope that makes up for it. More of the point they didn’t even clear the shelf of the out of date meal deals. They wasn’t bothered at all.

As ASDA’s go, this one is decent. With an attached McDonald’s being a bonus. Good car park with 4 hours parking allowed, being in the town centre, this is handy.

Great local shop, where the staff are always happy to help. Great to see the shop supports charities by allowing them to have a stand in the shop. This shop is missing the fresh fish counter and yet has an area for Sushi (yuk) and has the make your own pizza. They also have the hot counter for the cooked chicken and sausage sandwich but nowhere to sit down to eat, unless you sit around the bandstand and look at the people in McDonald's!

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with Horizon Parking Services and the Parking Charge Notice I recently received from them. This notice alleges a breach of their terms and conditions, backed by what they claim to be photographic evidence. However, my experience with this company has left me deeply dissatisfied for several reasons.Firstly, it is evident that Horizon Parking Services failed to conduct proper due diligence when monitoring their parking facility. The so-called photographic evidence they provided does not guarantee accuracy, as they have not verified if their cameras accurately captured my vehicle leaving ASDA. This lack of attention to detail raises serious concerns about the reliability of their monitoring system.Furthermore, ASDA offers ample parking spaces, and I have never encountered any difficulties finding a spot. This leads me to believe that Horizon Parking Services may primarily exist to generate revenue by targeting unsuspecting individuals for alleged breaches of their terms and conditions, even when evidence is inconclusive.Such practices reflect poorly not only on Horizon Parking Services but also on establishments like ASDA that choose to associate with them. It is essential for reputable companies like ASDA to recognise the potential harm to their reputation caused by affiliations with organizations like Horizon Parking Services. In conclusion, my experience with Horizon Parking Services has been nothing short of appalling. They appear to prioritise profit over providing a secure parking environment, relying on questionable tactics to issue Parking Charge Notices. This unprofessional conduct and disregard for accuracy are deeply concerning and reflect poorly on their integrity as a company.I strongly urge individuals and businesses alike to exercise caution when driving into ASDA as you then enter into a contract with Horizon Parking Services. Their practices are, in my opinion, both reprehensible and unethical.

Was here earlier, 4 people were waiting for scan and go validation but there was one person trying to look after scan & go and self service which was an absolute sham. Poor woman was running around various checkouts and was clearly very stressed. More staff are needed at checkouts, more team leaders are needed to properly manage the checkouts, when issues arise staff should be sent to the checkouts.

Never seem to have stuff in stock and randomly stop selling things. I’m dairy and gluten free so was over the moon when they started selling gluten and dairy free croissants and cookies. They’ve stopped selling them now which is really disappointing
