Charter Veterinary Surgeons, Biddulph

I've used Charter vets in Biddulph now for 20 years . Marcus the head vet is a very knowledgeable and friendly person, I will always try and see him for my pets health needs . He explains everything and always has advice to help with any concerns I have . I always feel as though the best interests of my pet are forefront. The staff are also really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this practice .

Brilliant service and brilliant staff, they present a real homely and friendly atmosphere and were a massive help with my dog. Can't speak highly enough of them. Excellent vets.

Took my dog for a booster. Saw new vet and my dog appeared nervous which was unusual. Vet hurt her when giving booster and had to do it twice as he missed the first time! He wanted to weigh her and was asked to pick her up and put her onto a tiny set of scales on his desk! Always had my dogs weighed on floor scales in the past to get accurate results. Very unprofessional.

We have been with Charter for many years and have received treatment for other cats before Muffin. We have always been treated very well and all the staff have been very friendly and treated our pets in a caring manner.

Thank you so much for coming to see my dog Henry at home, at short notice, thereby reducing the amount of pain he had to suffer as he didn't have to be lifted and carried (he hurt his back jumping after a ball). The vet, Marcus, was lovely, though I'm glad I put Henry's muzzle on before he arrived, and soon had my dog diagnosed and comfortable, and at a reasonable cost. Thanks Charter, Henry and I appreciate it

My usual exotic vet was unable to see my lizard so I rang charter, they were really helpful and advised that they aren’t exotic specialists but would be happy to take a look at my pet for me as Marcus had experience with some reptiles.The reception team were absolutely amazing, even going as far as ringing their other practice to see if they could save me a few minutes journey.Marcus was brilliant with my blue tongued skink, he handled him really well and put us both at ease.He spent a good while doing each check on him thoroughly and then advised me of possible causes to the small problem he’d been having.I would not hesitate to go here again with my skink, and even more so if I had a cat or dog.Thanks to Marcus and all the team.

We couldn’t wish for better care for our dogs than what we get at Charter, Biddulph. One of our dogs is a very nervous, diabetic Staffy- he sees Carol every three weeks for blood tests and insulin reviews.and he trots off quite happily with her. All the staff are lovely, the vet care is amazing, the nurses are super caring and the reception staff are fabulous. Highly recommended

Lovely vets, They take care of my animals, know them all by name and I can trust them to give me straight answers. I had to have a cat put down, they were lovely And they saved my little chihuahua when his heart stopped during surgery. They treat us like family

Can't fault any of you guys all the team are nice and vets seem to know what there doing...this is my go to vets for my dog molly and she's always been brilliant with them had a few things done ie dew claws and so on regular health checks and boosters and things...they can be a little pricey for treatment and for aftercare...but that's all vets! Worth a visit if your looking for a good practice and they are very accomplished and accom so just give it a go...this one might be for you!Dan & dog
