I stumbled upon Carbase in Lympsham over a year ago, and let me tell you, it was like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but with more horsepower and fewer leprechauns.From the moment I stepped onto the lot, it was clear that Carbase was not just in the business of selling cars; they were in the business of making dreams come true. The staff at Carbase are like automotive wizards, magically turning my vague car aspirations into a tangible reality. They didn't just sell me a car; they sold me a ticket to the fast lane of life.Now, let's talk about the selection. It's like a candy store for grown-ups, but instead of sweets, there are sleek rides that practically wink at you, saying, Take me for a spin!" I felt like a kid in a toy store

Had a mixed start to our visit, as we had booked 2 test drives but they were not on the system so the cars were not ready. However salesman Will, went out of his way to sort the issue and we were able to test drive the vehicles in no time at all. We did in fact go on to buy one of them later that day. Knowledgeable, kind and patient is how I would describe the staff we had dealings with, and in particular Will who helped us every single step of the way.

Will was fantastic! He made the entire process easy, explained every step clearly, and was very reassuring and helpful throughout! I would highly recommend Carbase in Lympsham

Can it get any worse?!Well it's been 2 and a half weeks since my partner's 1 star review of Carbase Lympsham (see Leighton Gosai) and their very quick public comment promising a serious investigation into the safety concerns raised etc., and we STILL have had no phone call from Carbase.2 emails have been sent to their given 'complaints' email over the last 2 weeks, and not even as much as an acknowledgement has been received at all from them.What in the WORLD has happened to customer service?! Honestly, it's not even customer service - simple common courtesy would suggest that a reassuring phone call on the next working day after leaving such a damming review would help put a customer's mind at ease that this safety matter was being taken seriously. To prove that a). This matter is being taken seriously b). Highlight what is being done in terms of an investigation, c). What is hoped will be achieved, and by when, d). What my partner can expect in terms of compensation for the immense stress, inconvenience and danger they have put him and my children in.Yet again (as MANY other customers have pointed out here) - it seems these guys are all about the pushy sell, getting you out of the door and leaving you high and dry in terms of after sales support and rectifying issues.Carbase; Take the above as a lesson in foundational customer service and common courtesy.To the reader - in case you didn't get the message from my partner's review - DO NOT buy from Carbase.Next step for us will be contacting Trading Standards.

Brought a car from carbase yesterday and the young man Joshua who dealt with us was brilliant, no car sale pressure, friendly, very helpful, and nothing was to much trouble. I saw a car that I liked but it was in Bristol so they transferred it over to there Lympsham branch and took just a few days. Service was very good and got some great cars, I part exchanged mine and was happy with the price, will definitely use this car company again when I'm wanting my next car. Mike the business manager was also friendly no car sales pressure and helpful. This is definitely the place to purchase a car.

We bought car from this company. I checked the car before buying and appeared that this car has finance. During the selling process they did not tell us about this finance till I asked them!!! They answered that they will pay this finance and will send us documents proving this payment in next days. More than 10 days we are still waiting!!! I did this before with my car and Mercedes Finance send me this document in few minutes time!!! “ My philosophy for Carbase is a reflection of my own very high standards which is to treat customers as I would like to be treated myself. Very bad customer service. I bought my car from here, one small thing was missing. Nick the manager said they will post it. Within a week. It's been 3 weeks since I got nothing so, I chased them, they said you can buy it online and we will send the money to your bank details. Still it's been a month with no payment return. Be aware they say something but never deliver. This was the worst experience buying a car from this showroom.
