Deregistered us as patients without informing us, despite having our appointments cancelled by them due to staffing issues. They don't respond to online enquiries and almost impossible to get them via phone. If you do, you'll speak to angry Sue who probably needs some therapy. No complaints process in place it seems. I have total sympathy for the mess the NHS is in and that it's not the individual's fault, but at least talk to me like I'm a human.

Absolutely shocking treatment! Or lack of treatment should I say, after appointments being cancelled by them back in July my husbands appointment finally arrived in September, expecting to have an extraction as discussed at his last appointment. On arrival the first thing to notice was another different dentist altogether, then what was even more worrying was the fact that although the dentist had notes he was asking why the previous dentist was planning to extract the teeth and why .Then after taking impressions of teeth with denture in place they then took denture away to have new teeth added, usually this wouldn’t have been an issue when the practice was still under the ownership of the Houston’s, as you knew that 2-3 days later and after the teeth being removed that day you would get your teeth back. Not this time not only did they take the teeth, but the extraction wouldn’t be done until the end of November( 2 months) in the meantime he was expected to go home with next to no bottom teeth and they thought this was acceptable! Since the take over the service has been disgusting and you cannot blame covid, this is down to the new owners.Avoid this practice like the plague is my advice!!It is NOT Houston’s it is a sham!

Absolutely appalling dentists. Repeatedly cancelled appointments for my children and didn’t bother telling me. Left my daughter in need of dental surgery after their dentist completely messed up a filling

Been going here for a number of years. Staff polite but dentist is always changing. Now the last two appointments have been cancelled by Houston’s. It might be just a check up and COVID will have had an impact but, at this rate my children will have been overdue a check up by nearing a year by the time a new appointment is provided. Time to change dentist sadly!

I used to use them and rate them highly as a private patient but recently my partner has had terrible treatment from the NHS side! She has been left in so much pain for so long she was even hospitalised at one point for using too much ibuprofen. Constant pain every day! Constantly waiting for treatment. We Called again today to try to get her out of pain and was told (very rudely) there are no appointments nothing they can do for at least a week! I understand you get what you pay for and will receive better treatment paying private but they seem ONLY interested in private patients - nhs patients can wait and suffer.Very poor and upsetting treatment of a young mother.

Absolutely shocking place. No one ever answers the phone to even get an appointment. Iv tried for a couple of months!! My last appointment they did HALF a root canal and didn’t finish the job. That tooth is now snapped in half because I couldn’t get in for another appointment for it to be completed.I’m 6 months pregnant and in a lot of pain and your surgery didn’t care. The attitude was vile by the person who eventually bothered answering the phone. I’ll be making a formal complaint about your services.I have now gone else where.

Houstons staff are polite, friendly, helpful and professional. My dentist is extremely lovely and goes to great lengths to reassure me a keep me comfortable. I’ve recently had some in-depth dental work carried and it was totally pain free. Even the anaesthetic injection was without the slightest pain. Wish I’d found them years ago!!
