Waited an hour for our food and unfortunately I had to ask for a refund which was given. We did receive our food also but only to save it going in the bin. The mixed grill was lovely but the garlic bread was over £4 for 2 tiny pieces and the cheeseburger fries should have served 2 but there was not enough for one. If they. are busy they need to tell their customers the wait times. Although the food was nice and a bit smaller than expected we will not be going back as the service is shocking

Great place for vegan foodThe Submariner Cookhouse & Pub, a Brewer's Fayre place on Rhyl seafront, has loads to offer vegans.Surroundings in Cookhouse are comfortable and spacious.Efficient and friendly staff.Lots of vegan and veggie food, all very reasonably priced.I had a cheese (Violife) and onion pie with carrots, peas and gravy. Absolutely lovely!Access was easy, flat from the street with wide doors, toilets also on the flat.We'll definitely be going again.

Went for a 60th birthday. The staff had decorated the table and left a small box of chocolates for the birthday lady....all of the small attention to detail went a long way.Service could have been a little better but it was busy so understandable.Would definitely recommend!

The staff here are welcoming and helpful. We asked to exchange a couple items and the member of staff was happy to ask the chef what was possible. Staff are an asset to this company.We order a sharing platter with extra chicken wings and the platter was mouthwatering.We also ordered a full rack of ribs which came with chips Chicken and salad. The robs were massive and very tasty.The stake was nice but not the best we have had. But this did not change that it was good value for money in a nice clean restaurant.If you come to Rhyl give it a try.

Lovely restaurant for a family meal, very clean , however not many staff on been waiting 20 mins for my order to be took and 35 min and I haven’t got my drinks.

There was a warm and friendly atmosphere on arrival and no wait for a breakfast table. We felt comfortable to help ourselves to the hot, delicious cooked breakfast and the chef, DAWN, was polite in making vegan options and serving them to table. The continental food area was well presented and clean and tidy. SAM was also so lovely in having a nice chat when I settled the value for money bill. Felt like we were at friends house for breakfast. We'd definitely dine there again.

Staff were very nice and helpful but this pub/restaurant or whatever it is trying to be is seriously lacking something. No bar service, card payments only, bland food and zero atmosphere. If this sort of place is the future of eating and drinking then I'll stay at home in future. Pubs and restaurants should have a soul and a nice ambience, sadly this place had neither..
