Halfords - Banbury

Booked car in for service, arrived to be told that car wasn't booked in,but was booked in for tyres,which had been done the Monday before. Re booked service for a week later, arrived again to be told that it was booked in for a different day 2 and a half weeks later. Finally got to service day number 3 ,car was booked in for 8 am to be told car wouldn't be ready until 3pm. Go to pick up car at 3 to be told it won't be ready for at least another hour and a half!!! Shocking customer service avoid this branch at all costs!!!

Very helpful buyer my daughters bike the staff was great I will say however the £10 charges for building it is wrong. You spent all that money and you think they would throw that in that’s the only thing I’m disappointed in other than that was good exercise in the shop

Great customer service when collecting a bike, they couldn’t do enough to help and advise I feel they went above and beyond, were very friendly and professional. Will definitely be returning and taking out the bike care plan.

Waiting 2 weeks now for replacement Halfords Advanced tools. Was told this should take up to a week which already ridiculous as they should always have some replacements in stock. Don’t convince people to buy your product with lifetime warranty if you can’t even replace items promptly.I didn’t even get 1 sorry from Banbury workers about this and was just told to bear with them. Genuinely disappointing experience and not helpful team of workers.Halfords Advanced tools are good value for money but don’t buy them if you need them for your full time job. Stick with proper stuff like Snap on and blue point, when you break stuff, call up the tool van, next day you have replacements. I will be selling all my Halfords tools and switching to snap on and will make sure to tell my friends about this experience.

The guys in this Banbury store are always polite, helpful and professional.It is sometimes difficult in this store dealing with stroppy customers especially those whose first language is not English as I've experienced several times, but the sales team maintain their manners and politeness throughout.

Pretty pointless. Go elsewhere. Cannot meet bookings. Booked a tyre change and a alignment, and failed to do the alignment and cancelled the rebooking without calling. Booked a coolant change. Didn't do it the first time because of a part they 'needed'. The rebooked me for the following week. Had the car all day and still didn't do it, although the second time, they said that didn't need the part. That's three times they failed to do booked work. They need to stop accepting bookings if they are overloaded and stop wasting peoples time.

Alan did a terrific job on our car. He went out of his way to fix lights and then gave the whole vehicle a thorough and careful check over, Including Tyres etc. brilliant.

Excellent service. very helpful. Fitted my new wiper blades.Undertook a ten point FREE service check on my Audi estate. Pasted with flying colours, but advised top-up my antifreeze.Delighted. Now my wife wants her car checked over!

Halfords should be proud having customer adviser like Mr Mario. He provided me with exceptional service, took my bike and fixed it. He was very professional, polite and gave me some good advises about care for the bike. I am very satisfied with the service.

The website is a bit of a mess and difficult to navigate and the procedure for purchasing a bulb with fitting was chaotic. However the guy actually doing the fitting was excellent! Cheerful in spite of the bitter cold and willing to be as helpful as he could.
