Brilliant morning for the whole family! Lots to see inside the aquarium and even a little woodland walk and pelican area outside. The shark and ray part was epic, great views! Nice cafe and indoor and outdoor seating. The floor was super wet around the rock pools so be careful. We liked seeing all the different lego models of different creatures. The price is on the higher side and there is the additional cost of parking if you park on the aquarium. I felt there could have been more interactive areas or information around the tanks but the tanks themselves were drawing you in anyway.

Kids loved it. Stayed about 3 hours. Outdoor play area and Pelican feed was good too. Took own picnic as restaurant is expensive but branded ice creams £2.50 similar to other tourist attractions. Tea £2.85, coffee £3 something. Parking is payable £2.75 but sign says it all goes back into animal care. We used kids pass so for the money was a brilliant day.

We've been before and enjoyed the experience. This time the addition of the Lego models and fact hunt made our stay last longer. We went around a couple for times and so we're there for around 4 hours. Definitely recommend. The main tank and viewing tunnel glass is spotless when compared with other aquariums we have visited.

This is our second visit this year and we had a better experience this time around. Yes, it is expensive for the time you are there, but the aquarium itself is really worth visiting. The animals were very lively and our 4 month old baby loved the shark tunnel and the aquatheatre. We listened to a talk and saw the divers feed the rays.It clearly needs a bit of money putting into it and a bit of a revamp. The outside Pelican Cove was a bit disappointing and the car park lacked dropped curbs for prams/wheelchairs etc. The baby change bins hadn’t been emptied for a while and the toilets themselves need updating. The cafe is a waste of time. £8 for a sad looking baguette! My partner ordered a burger and it resembled a microwaveable burger and had 3 wilted leaves of salad on it. The cheese hadn’t even melted on the burger it was so lukewarm. It was £11. Definitely take a packed lunch! If the ticket prices were more around the £15 mark I think customers would be happier but to run the aquarium and its need for qualified staff can’t be cheap these days. We would easily spend this money on a meal at Frankie and bennys so why not on a day learning about sea life? It is far easier to think of the negatives than the positives. Our baby loved seeing the rays, clown fish and the coral cave. We enjoyed seeing the snakes and tarantulas as well as the croc! All in all we had a nice day.

It was nice to revisit the aquarium after a few years, although not much has changed (if anything at all). Well, apart from the massive LEGO figures dotted around the place, which were pretty impressive. You can go around the aquarium within a couple of hours or so and we went around the whole thing a few times. It's good because the size of the place is not overwhelming, and as a first-time visitor (or reoccurring), you'll be able to catch all the animal talks, which I highly recommend going to. Especially the one in the aquatheatre where you get to see the divers feed the fish from inside the big tank.

A nice place to visit with kids. Tickets are a bit expensive compared to the small collection of exhibits. Look for the timing of different shows during the day, which can be found on the website. Don't miss the demonstration by the divers feeding the sharks and sting rays. They also provide diving opportunities for novices.

Nice place to visit for a couple of hours. The only thing that was disappointing was the extortionate price for entry... £71 for 2 adults and a toddler...We were already there and my toddler wanted very much to see the fish and would have been very upset should we have left. So by the time you get there it's too late.So heads up in the pricing.Other than that, the usual fishes on display, wander through and around the aquarium.Nice large fish viewing window at one point with a short talk from an aquarium guide about the fish inside.Nice play park at the back inside.Worth it for the 2 hours we were there, however cannot return based on the price alone. There are a lot of other things you can do a lot cheaper, a lot more entertaining and for a longer time with children than visiting this place.

Quite a small aquarium but a lot to look at! Very enjoyable for the family, but I do recommend visiting on a school weekday as it's much less busy and claustrophobic. Had an upstairs (entrance) and downstairs (cafe), with a lift hidden in a corridor for those with prams and wheelchairs.
