Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Swansea City Centre

We needed a car, because ours failed the mot. Our dealer went through enterprise who stated they would get us a car as soon as possible. That was Thursday afternoon. I chased and chased it. No joy on Friday either. We ended up having our car back on the Friday afternoon, thank fully. So didnt bother with enterprise again.I had a phone call this morning (tuesday) to say they have a car for us. 5 DAYS LATER!Would not reccommend!

NEVER SHARE YOUR CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS WITH THEM AS THEY MAY CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU FOR NO REASON.This is the worst company you could hire a vehicle from. All they are looking for is making money by cheating customers and claiming that old damages caused by anyone who might have hired a vehicle from them.I hired a van for one day. On the day I picked up a van from them, they mentioned that (no damage was reported). I used the van for taking my stuff from a place to another. It was a very short distance and kept the van in my secured parking during night.When I dropped off the van, a member of their staff kept walking around pretending as he was checking damages.He knows that there were already some old damages there before I hired that van from them. He ended up by claiming that there is a new a scratch on the top of the rear left tyre of the van. It was really shocking and I felt in a moment that I was going to be cheated. When I asked him to prove that the other scratches (which he said there weren't caused by me) were there before I hired the van in a document/checklist/pictures, he said we do not need to prove that.They kept the deposit of £200 and attempted to take further £100 and then another £200 so I needed to report that to the bank to stop Enterprise from making further deductions from my bank account.I went to the police station and explained everything to them. They advised to go back to Enterprise and ask them to itemise the old damages as well as the new damage caused by myself. Again, Enterprise refused to provide me with any checklists.Swansea Police were really helpful and helped me to take a legal action against Enterprise. They referred my case to the Citizen Advice.I am %100 certain that the damage was not caused by me. I know that it will be a complicated case in courts but I really have no choice because they refused to prove that I caused the damage.The attached photos show all the scratches that the van I hired has. This will make it easier for anyone to think 100 times before hiring any vehicle from Enterprise.

Really good easy service, I've hired about 5 cars this year 4 from Swansea branch at Dyfatty Street.Good cars but not always guaranteed the car however a similar one is offered as it is also stated online when booking.

Avoiding for good ... what shocking service from Enterprise.This is not the only branch that has done this to me. After having a booking for an automatic vehicle with work for over 2 weeks. The day before my trip at 4.00pm, which is an hour before they close, I am told they have no auto vehicles available for me.I was told I could have a manual, but for health reasons, I should not be driving a manual. I was told they operate on a vehicle returns basis ... however this is not good enough when you had 2 weeks to arrange the car for my travel.This is extremely poor customer service, and they clearly did not care. Despite my booking request, they still called me asking in the morning if I'd take a manual before explaining my health reasonings and me reminding them I had booked an automatic vehicle.This brought unnecessary stress upon me for my work journey, which forced me to take my own car last minute. With this being a work trip, I usually refuse and never do this as it's unnecessary wear and tear on my vehicle.It seems they are clearly accepting too many vehicle requests and just trying to get the money where they can, meaning they are unable to fulfil all their vehicle bookings ... or they clearly need more cars, especially when they only have 20% of their fleet being autos.There have been many other issues in the past with Enterprise. Including where I ordered a large order vehicle that they could not honour. Without calling me, they turned up with an extremely small vehicle on a saturday, for an early Monday morning trip. Which was a problem because I could not contact them on Sunday to arrange a replacement car.If I order something specific, I expect to get it as I ordered it for a reason. This reason was that I usually have to carry a lot in the car for my work trips, which would not have happened in that small car.Do better ...

I recently had an experience Enterprise Swansea City Center that provided exceptional customer service. Aaron and Dave went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that I was satisfied with the service. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, making the entire experience a pleasure. I truly appreciate their commitment to providing great customer service and will definitely be returning to them in the future. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of outstanding customer service.

Friendly service and the lovely gentleman even decided not to charge us for minor damage to the wing mirror.It was so refreshing, having dealt with some horrible car rentals in the past!Will be coming back, thanks!

We hired a 9 seater minibus for a family break on the 14th of november,the lady who dealt with us was really helpful and very pleasant,the bus was so comfortable and plenty of space for us and the luggage!. My Son enjoyed driving it and can't wait to hire it again next November.When we took the bus back the staff were very pleasant again and put the deposit straight back into our bank account within the hour!! Can definitely recommend this company.

Had a great experience hiring from here. Staff were very helpful and no problems with the car. Pick up and return were efficient, much better than the last place I hired from!

Refused to deal with my query about a car enterprise have given me that has mechanical issues. Didn't follow up on a call back request and won't answer my calls. In fact they pick the line up and hang up straight away to avoid me.I have a faulty car and the manager" is completely unwilling to help."
