Frampton Court

We hired Frampton Court for a three night stay. From the day we booked our experience was pure perfection. The communication before our stay was timely and friendly. Charlotte put us in touch with the most wonderful local companies and answered every little query in a quick and polite manner. The house and grounds are simply stunning, every details has been considered and carried out beautifully. We would not hesitate in booking again, just need to find an excuse to.Thank for helping to make our weekend one ourselves and our guests will never forget.

Can't say enough good things about Frampton Court and Peter and Charlotte who made us feel so welcome. We stayed with family (12-80 years old!) to celebrate our silver wedding and it was just magical - we felt like Lords and Ladies of the manor! Frampton Court is so beautifully maintained - spotlessly clean and well equipped for every eventuality. It really has the wow factor from the stunning hall with sweeping staircase and huge fireplace with comfy chairs (this is where we all seemed to naturally congregate) to fabulous four poster bedrooms to the huge dining room with Clifford family portraits overseeing the long banquet table. And views from every window which will make you sigh whether over the sweeping drive and front lawn or out over the park towards the lake. Chock full of history, but we felt so at home we could have stayed forever! Thank you Charlotte and Peter - we can't recommend you highly enough!

We had a 3 day stay at Frampton Court and had a great time, we would highly recommend it. The admin side of things was very simple and straightforward and the property provides a really unique and memorable destination. It’s well equipped for large groups and we very much enjoyed the log fire as the evenings close in!

Our stay at Frampton Court did not disappoint ! We had such a wonderful break with our family and friends and loved having such a comfortable and special space to relax. The pink bath tub was 10/10 ! The owners were so friendly and accommodating. We are already planning our next visit.

Frampton Court is truly magical - grand and yet welcoming, charmingly furnished and the Christmas decorations were lovely and much appreciated. We all without exception had a wonderful stay there and a great 80th celebration - 'the best birthday yet' I quote, and that's good going considering my dad was celebrating 80! The most incredible wknd staying here. The place was huge, in such amazing condition and was just like staying at downton abbey. The host Charlotte was amazing to deal with. Cant wait to go back- England at its finest!

We recently held our wedding ceremony at Frampton Court and it was an absolutely enchanting experience. The attention to detail and comfort of the place exceeded our expectations. Charlie, the owner, was truly exceptional. Her communication was outstanding, and she went above and beyond to help us understand all that the house had to offer. She made us feel like we were in our own home away from home.The historic charm combined with modern comforts transported us back in time in the most delightful way. The well-equipped kitchen, cinema room, and even the popcorn machine were delightful touches that added to the overall experience. The thoughtful provision of coffees and teas added a warm touch.The bedding and towels from the White Company were a luxurious touch, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in for a while. The finishing touches throughout the house were impeccable.The meticulously maintained grounds showcased careful planning and added to the overall charm. We extend a massive thank you to Charlie and her family for making our wedding weekend truly special. Frampton Court is a gem, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for our special day.

I would happily pay twice the amount for this magnificent country house and I cannot heap too many superlatives on it.The current custodians, Peter and Charlotte are direct descendants of the Cliffords who were given the land by William the Conquerer in 1068 and their pride and attention to detail in caring for and upgrading their family seat is palpable.Our stay divided into a Country House Weekend for 12 from Friday dinner until after breakfast on Monday and the rest of the week with just the two of us. For the weekend, we all dressed for dinner and congregated for the most delicious breakfasts- the immediate conversation of everyone on joining breakfast on Saturday was how sumptuous the bedlinen was.We explored the beauty and history of the house, we wandered the manicured gardens, we went and admired the stunning orangery, we cooked steak over the fire pit and we used all four ovens to create the Sunday roast of beef, lamb, pork and all the trimmings. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and the four oven Everhot is a joy to use. The dining room was just the perfect setting for our very well dressed meals.Charlotte and her team looked after us wonderfully and we have no hesitation in saying that it is by far the best house we have ever stayed in and I very much doubt it will ever be beaten.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay for a vacation; not cheap but a fantastic experience. Kitchen is well equipped and large. The electric Everhot oven takes some getting used to.Seven bedrooms, five upstairs with various combinations of bath/shower.Great dining room and several living rooms/lounges.Extensive grounds and close by to canal for walks/cycling.The large rear garden has an outdoor table that can seat ten and a firepit for BBQs.The estate has smaller properties to let.
