The receptionist are really stuck up and rude, its so difficult to get any sort of information . The receptionist think they’re medically trained and want to know why you want an appointment, if you don’t tell them the details they will not give you an appointment, they hang up on you even if you are first in the queue pretending they can’t hear you, takes another 10 minutes to get through even though you are first in queue . It just seems as though they don’t want to do their job. Absolutely ridiculous. They are there to help us yet they give us attitude when we call. I’m not someone who gives reviews but this is just not okay to look down on patients.Sort this out.

It takes way too long to get the appointment and a telephone call at that. It is extremely frustrating and doesn't add to your feeling of well-being !!If you can get to past the receptionist, who wants to know what your illness is before they decide if you need the appointment. Not sure when the receptionist became medically knowledgeable enough to make those decisions. You will likely be palmed off with call again later in the day"

Absolutely atrocious receptionist, called on 14/07/2023 at approximately 14:54 asking for a prescription and the tone of voice and attitude of the receptionist was absolutely out of order. She sounded Asian as she had an accent that I was able to tell. She needs to go. The doctors are great but that particular receptionist is uneducated and patronizing. Who the hell does she think she is.I will take this further

Had the worse worse experience with my smear test as the nurse was inconsiderable and rough , This was on 25th March 2022 .A week or two later I rang the practice to find out about my results as I work away from home , to which I was told they only sent the results via the post and the receptionist couldn't help . Today is the 21st May 2022 and still I haven't heard from them nor any post with my smear test results. As for getting through to get an appointment, that's a different story . You have to air all your problems to the receptionist before a guaranteed appointment. Uncomfortable

After lockdown the practice has been very good and considerate. The service is good. The reception staff have been good and understanding and to try accommodate the best they can. Nurse and doctors have done thier best during these times with limited resources. Can't fault them at all.

I have joined this practice due to sudden closure of my previous GP practice which was Donald wild Medical centre and by a recommendation of a doctor. It has been 2 years since I have joined Jalal practice. Since I have joined I have been unable to make a doctor's appointment even tho I rang several times due to different health issue.Every time I ring in the morning it's either engaged or the receptionist says all the appointment have been taken. I have been dealing my health issue through 7 days access doctor's. Out of hours doctors said some of my health issue need to be dealt by GP. I suffer from high cholesterol andMy Previous GP has advised me to take another test for cholesterol in a year time as it was getting high so that I can be put on medication. I have recently had a blood test done through helath care assistant and cholesterol was still on the high side and sugar level was going high too. Nurse at my practice advised me to make an appointment with the doctors but unfortunately every time I ring for appointment receptionist says the same story again and again that all the appointment are taken and to ring back in the morning as they don't give pre-booked appointment. I have been suffering from hip and back pain for few weeks. I tried to get an face to face appointment with the doctors but I was given a phone consultation after a week. On the day of my appointment a nurse rang me to talk about the problem and I told her my appointment was with a doctor. She said she was qualified to prescribe medications to me. After hearing she said she needs to see me face to face after a week. My complain is that why can't I make a pre booked appointment with my doctor as I work full time and also my question is how come the receptionist making decision about my health condition and refuse to give me appointment with doctors where their not even qualified in any health field. Some of them probably have not even passed their GCSE. I am fed up of this corrupt system which wasn't like that few years ago. I believe if there is any human doctors in Jalal practice who may read this message will contact me.

Dr Jalal (male GP) was very rude and dismissive. He had big attitude problem and needs to learn some manners. Surprised how he became a GP. He provided poor clinical care. Needs sacking.

What a waste of space this surgery is. My father has lost over 2 stone in a short space of time and in absolute agony with various ongoing things, there is not much left of him, he isn’t the biggest guy in the world, you keep brushing him off with the same tablets which obviously don’t work, how do you know what give him if you don’t examine the problem areas. Surely if the tablets are not working you would see what the problem is so you give him correct treatment. He can never see his own gp . No one listens to his needs .when he phones the receptionist just brushes him off till he rings that much they then manage to slot him in. I understand you gps and the nhs are in a crisis but this is a joke and it isn’t funny.

I received a phone call for a 10 am appointment when I got to the practice the receptionist said it is 11:15.I had another appointment at 10:45 so I left and tried to make it back for 11:15.On my way back I received two phone calls from the practice which I answered however, the person hang up without speaking to me. I tried to call back but no one answered the phone. When I got to the practice I was told the nurse won't be able to see me because she had a full clinic and my next appointment is December. The lady next to me said unless you call at 8am and and to my surprise, the receptionist told the strange the procedure I was to have done and proceeded to explain to the strange way my appointment is will be in December. They are so unprofessional in this practice. Unbelievable g
