The bouncers are a throw back to the 80s, when they were thugs and bullies, something I thought council licencing had weeded out, not so.Simply my friend walks awkward after a car accident.He is disabled, has lung issues, and needs oxygen daily, sleeps with oxygen masks, needs a hair lift.And has only ust beaten throat cancer.We had a first meet up for sometime, only been in three bars.the last one Brain jar, he screwed up by using the stairs, and was struggling because of it.The bouncer, refused him in said he was drunk, tried to explain, but he completely refused to listen, started laughing.My other friends tried to explain, but again he just found it funny, even started mocking him, us.Snatch our drinks, started getting threatening, to which I filmed him.This is how these morons abuse people with disabilities. Sickening.Not fit to serve and deal with the public

This former hull Brewery pub has a stunning looking exterior. There is a wide range of beers lagers and cider. The interior is one large open plan room, there are no bar games, darts or pool. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming.

Food and drinks were nice but very expensive compared to other pubs in the town. The service was the best thing about the place. I might go back if I remortgage the house!

Right in town near to princes quay. It's an old pub and a bit tatty but still pretty nice. A nice long bar serving a selection of real ales. We had lunch and surprisingly it was very nice. It is normal pub grub however, I had the beef lasagne which was home made and full of beef and mushrooms. A pile of thick cut chips and side salad. Wife had scamp and said it was nice. This was for an early dinner/late lunch. It was a meal deal of two for 11 odd quid. Dissapointingly though, the garlic bread had been what seemed to be microwaved as it was hot but soggy plus it was a good couple of quid. Next time I'll skip the GB. Overall pretty good but not special and certainly better than a burger or chicken chain.

Called in for a couple beers the staff was friendly and we wasn't waiting long to be served. We didn't eat here but the food that was being served looked nice and plentyfull. If it tasted nice I couldn't say. But if your passing call in and give it a try.

We have eaten here for years and never in all that time have we been able to fault anything the food is always cooked perfect the staff are friendly the service is great
