Friendly service, bright yellow cornbread fresh from the oven goes great with savoury spreads

Me and my son went there for the first time today. The food is amazing, I'm so pleased that I found this little gem.Bread, bun and patties that remind me of my childhood x

The patties that I bought were disgusting, the look of the place is horrible. Everything looked stale. But the boys behind the counter were doing the best they could. Wouldn't go back.

I went to buy brown bread at Mixed Blessings Bakery on Friday 20th 2023 at some minutes past 5pm. I mistook the closing time to be 6pm. The nice lady behind the counter saw me - a tired postman with a worried look- through the glass door. She unlocked the door and beckoned me in to make my purchase. That single act of kindness saved the day for me. The nice lady deserves every opportunity the business can afford her.

My mum (and I) have been going here for many years to get our patties and bun, they are very nice. Staff always seem nice. Only criticism is sometimes reaching them on the phone to order can be hard, you may have to call a few times to get through. Other than that I would recommend them.

I remember when their bread was really good quality and the bread was fresh. Not their bread is stail and dry, coconut turnovers you could like a bird out the sky with. How can bread be still warm yet it's crumbly????Its a shame that the standards have dropped so low. #bringbackthe90sbread#

Best bakery in South hands down, this family deserves all the credit from Christmas to Christmas and don't get me started with the daily patty too. All baked to satisfaction one love truly

Only place I'll buy hardo bread from in London, period. Softness and sweetness is perfect. Only thing I would recommend is making sure bread is ready when they open not later in the day. Can't understand the negative comments tbh.

Just tried the new West Indian bakery in Camberwell. First impressions are good. My daughter and I love the long fruit bun - a bit like a sweet malt loaf and great toasted with butter. Staff friendly too. Glad we stopped by.
