Minor Injuries Clinic

Visited this unit twice in a week, with an injured ankle and a back muscle spasm. First time I called the unit in advance and asked if I could just show up or I need an appointment. Second time I just showed up. Excellent care. Best professionals. Can't thank you enough.

Great experience! Was in town on business and fell on street; hit my left elbow hard. Went to Minor Injury Clinic at NHS. Decided to be seem. Showed up and signed in with front desk in 5 min. Sat down and was called back to see Dr in 10 minutes. I was referred to X-rays, walked down the hall and had X-rays in 15 minutes. Walked back to office and was called back by Dr for the interpretation of my injury. The Dr informed me that I had a broken elbow/radial head (ouch!). Being from out of town they gave me and CD of the images and notes so I could take them back to US for further diagnosis and a sling. Highly recommend this clinic.I was in and out so quickly, putting all US medical facilities to shame. So easily 5 Stars, and the icing on the cake was no charge. Unbelievable!Only issue was this clinic can not write RX for any medical Rx to include heavy opiate pain meds. With my elbow screaming I needed something. It was either go to ER and wait to be seen by specialist (another 6-8 hours) or go to pharmacy with their note and get Tylenol with codeine so I opted for that and heaving icing to numb until I get home.If you are from out of town needing medical care for minor injury, this is a must go.

Lovely staff, they are efficient and friendly even though they are so busy! Stitched me up twice in the last couple of years and fitted me in even though it meant them staying back late.Wonderful place!

Ruptured my achilis tendon and had to pay a visit to the hospital. I was seen within 20min and on my way within another 30. All nhs staff were brilliant and I can't fault. So glad we have the nhs in UK.

Came here today with my boyfriend, who had badly bruised his finger (and he plays guitar for a living). The treatment was absolutely amazing. Waiting time was really short, got x-ray and we got amazing treatment. This is what the NHS is all about.

Could not fault the service when attended after a minor fall without an appointment. Almost no waiting time and most pleasant and efficient staff. Thursday 8th June at 5 o’clock.

Very disappointed turned up at Western General MIC in extreme pain due to foot injury. Receptionist refused to have me seen stating I need to go to my GP as injury was over 2 weeks old even although I told her pain was in a different part of my foot and had changed. The place was empty so not even the excuse of being too busy. Poor service.

Fantastic speedy service from the lovely staff at the minor injuries clinic. In, seen, X-rayed, treated and out in 45 minutes. Incredibly good service with a smile. And on a bank holiday too. Thank you
