Nearly half spaces are for electric vehicles to charge up I've only seen one on charge whenever passing I think for dumfries it's a waste of parking spaces perhaps two would have been ample for charging.This appears to me a waste of money not unlike the bicycle fiasco which was utterly useless.When I think of the new disaster one near morrisons I think although our councillors may have an education degree they sadly lack in good old common senseElectric vehicles were used for delivering the milk to houses during the night and mornings so their old hatBut in my opinion until the mileage is on par with diesel/petrol cars as mileage of 250 miles per charge is okay but remember when using wipers,lights, and radio also opening and shutting the door takes a mile of your 250 mileage.A long way to go before they will be bought like traditional cars, thus I think the spaces will not be required for a few years yet.The car park is free and handy for town centre shopping.

Close to town centre,lorbur e Hall and police station so behave urselfs lol

Handy location for town centre shopping. 2 hour limit to front section and all day parking to the rear.Car park is normally very busy through the week.
