I absolutely love my new quickstep laminate flooring in the upstairs of my house. It looks so homely and is so much easier to clean and maintain. Hertford flooring also laid my downstairs flooring 3 years ago and when I decided to do upstairs was no hesitation in contacting them. Professional company with great communication and quick service. Hertford Flooring recently installed a new carpet on the stairs and landing of our rental property in Hertford and we have been delighted with their service. We went to their shop and talked through the various options with Judi. Getting a quote and ordering the carpet was all seemless. Judi liaised with our tenants regarding access for the fitting and kept us informed at all stages. Neil did a great job of laying the carpet and we and the tenants are both very pleased. We have no hesitation in recommending this independent company.

Neil and his team at Hertford Flooring have been exceptional. From the very beginning helping us to choose the right options, through to installation, we could not be happier! We had our entire house fitted with wood flooring to replace our old carpet (including the staircase) and it looks incredible. The quality of the flooring is excellent and the installation team were brilliant. They were prompt, reliable, professional and extremely helpful, and I felt very comfortable trusting them to get on with things while I was away from the house. The solid wood staircase looks amazing and was meticulously crafted on site - its an old house and each stair is slightly different in size and shape so every component had to be hand cut to fit. We even changed the design of the stairs during the installation as we liked the look of the natural wood finish! Our house is transformed and we are very happy! I can highly recommend Hertford Flooring for amazing quality and service.

A beautiful loop carpet was installed to the entire first floor, the most luxurious cut pile carpet installed to the lounge and finally the most gorgeous bespoke staircase runner. I contacted Hertford Flooring after have issues in my kitchen where the previous flooring (installed by another company) had been lifting despite only being less than a year old. Neil came out promptly and diagnosed the problem very quickly and gave me a quote for a sturdy replacement.I was greatly impressed with how the sales staff in the shop knew the products and would suited our needs, when we came to choose materials and colours. They gave us good advice and did not push for quick decisions.When we made our choice it was easy to confirm and set up installation dates, and Graham turned up on time and did a brilliant job despite have to work with the peculiarities of a the dishwasher plumbing and a fridge freezer that didn't move easily. I am so pleased with the results and would definitely recommend Hertford Flooring.

From start to finish, a truly excellent experience. The team at Hertford Flooring is friendly, very knowledgeable and highly experienced. We were given some very useful insights on various options for product and fitting. In the end based on Neil' guidance, we went for a lovely engineered oak floorboard. Judi followed up regularly to keep us up to date with the project plan.The quality and customer excellence that we received in the shop continued with the fitter who came to do the installation. We have very been pleased with Hertford flooring. They were very professional and easy to deal with from start to end. The boys that installed our carpets were very friendly and did a great job. We would definitely recommend them as a company and use them again in the future.
