Really good portion size and good quality fish. The chips were good but not the best I've had from a chippie. Didn't accept card payments. I'd go back though, good value.

I asked for a shawarma, large chicken wrap" for 6.50. I waited about 12-14 minutes until the chicken was fried. The employee was polite and friendly

I recommend this Chippy to all of you who maybe reading... This is a very good Chips and Fish plaice geddit? Seriously this is excellent... They have full range of burgers, full range of Pizzas (Which are very popular around the doors) and a whole range of the old British Fish & Chips Shop from fish cakes, Saveloys, battery sausage, fish bites, cheesy chips and so much more. This shop does a daytime school children set menu which is set lower just for them. Which is quite a nod to the local community... It's popular and if you know Hylton Road parking is anywhere facing any direction nobody give a hoot. The final praise goes to the staff who are patient, helpful, & know the food they're serving and the portions of chips are massive.

Just had kebab chip butty amazing service amazing quantityTo sell this for £3 during a time like this is what I call a true business, I hope the community is grateful we have takeaways still like this

Just had fishcake, chips and sausage. Sausage and fishcake disgusting tasted off.chips were ok.Used to be 1 of the best chippys around defo wnt be ordering from there again

I've had a terrible cough since Tuesday last week, it got better a few day later until I had ifry which made my cough start up again. Definitely not ordering from this place again.

I fry used to be my favourite chippy ,food was great, portions were brilliant but the past few months its gone down hill ,portions have got smaller but price has gone up, also not much care goes into making the food like they used to , staff were very polite apart from the young girl who owns the place
