New to the surgery with our first pet. Very friendly and helpful staff who are happy to explain what would happen and what will happen in the coming months. I received reminder texts (well Taffy" did) and the staff talked to Taffy as well as us. I would highly recommend this surgery."

I have used Wilson's at Spennymoor for my dogs for a long time now and they are always friendly and give excellent advice. When I had to have my Labrador Holly put to sleep last year the staff couldn't have been more understanding and supportive and sorted everything out for me.I highly recommend Wilson's Vetinary practice and wouldn't use anyone else

I took my 2 cats for a check-up recently: the staff were friendly and polite; we were seen straight away and the vet was lovely with my cats. All areas of the practice are kept very clean. The prices are reasonable, too! I would definitely recommend them.

Good service. Extremely kind and caring. My dog doesn’t like going to the vets so the vet came outside to see him and then we went inside to try and get him used to going in without being examined. I don’t think there are many places that would take the time to do this. Very understanding

Cannot rate this veterinary surgery highly enough! As a new, first time puppy owner they have helped me no end with advice and answered all of my questions with professionalism.I have never felt rushed during appointments or that I was asking a silly question.The vet, nurses and reception team are always attentive and most importantly put my puppy at ease for his first 2 visits for vaccinations.Thank you all!

Extremely professional but at the same time all the staff came across as approachable, warm and friendly. Considering what my puppy had to have done on his very first visit, he was able to keep remarkably calm throughout. This is because his Vet, although very thorough, didn't rush and was so gentle, patient and reassuring with him. Thank you Sam and all the support staff. Jo Warren.

Haven’t had great experiences with Wilson’s over the last couple of years but the experience with Dotty a few weeks ago was completely different. Dotty greeted my dog, genuinely listened to our concerns and his symptoms, about treated I had already sought over the weekend, fully examined him and provided medication. Dotty had a great rapport with him in the appointment.The receptionist was also very friendly.The number of poor experiences we’ve had have been at Bishop Auckland branch, unfortunately I’m usually signposted to this branch when calling due to availability.
