Maples Care Home
I have a relative here in the care home, it’s clean and the staff are nice. They do try there best but sometimes they don’t communicate very well, if you don’t ask questions you won’t always know what is going on, that being says they do a great job and really do care about the residents

My grandmother (Pearl) was at maples for 3 weeks respite on the dementia floor. We couldn't fault it at all! Friendly staff & spotlessly clean. You can clearly see throughout the home they honestly care. If the time come that she needed to be in a home permanently, maples would definitely be first choice. Thank you to the entire team at Maples care home.Ben

Think long & hard before putting a loved one in this care home my dads room smelt of urine every time we went to visit we were not the only visitors to comment on this did staff never clean his room?. Trying to phone my dad was extremely difficult as half the time no one would pick up the phone in poppy ward and when they did there was no reception in the part of the ward were my dads room was, can maple care home not put in a land line that works in all parts of the home? and as we are over a 3 hour drive each way speaking to him on the phone was sometimes the only we could make sure he was alright. But what was a total disgrace and unexcitable was not being told my dad had past away we had to find this out 2nd hand from a member of my step family 2 days after he had passed, when i phoned the so called care home to find out what the hell they were playing at i was put thought to the woman in charge NICHOLA she told us how sorry she was but they could not phone me or my wife as they did not have our phone number funny that we had a meeting with her to discuss my dads case and we gave our home and mobile phone numbers to you then we also left our phone number with a member of poppy ward but it looks like it would be to much trouble to phone us. I can see with reviews that have been left you do not reply to any of them ( Bad business) But in our case don't bother it will be to little to late.

My family and I will be forever grateful for the compassion and care show to my brother Graham and our family through a really difficult time. The care home has a light and airy feel and I would really recommend it. The thing that meant the most to us was the kindness and consideration shown by every single member of staff. Given they were all so amazing I can't list everyone but I would like to particularly mention Libby who always gave us a warm welcome, Klaud, Theresa and Paul and Raj, Annie and all the carers in Poppy and Sunflower suites, Mischa, Nabina, Michael and Steve.

My grand parent was a resident at Maples and the care she received was outstanding. The carers and management are always kind and friendly and show lots of empathy to all their residents. Highly recommend

We just visited this new care home, we were very impressed with the staff who are friendly and caring. We spoke to other relatives there who loved the home and said it was great. The home itself is so nice and we have decided to book our parents into Maples.

Maples Care Home
This care home falls far short of what is needed and expected. Residents are put in the lounge sometimes 12 or more people with no carer supervising. This has meant my husband has had a number of falls and residents calling for help on his behalf The activities are very limited. It is a home that keeps people alive but not living . There are a lot better - and a lot worse. Overall disappointing and badly run in my view

My mum is a resident of Maples care home and i am delighted with the care that she receives. The staff are very helpful and i was very impressed with how they all settled mum in. The Maintenance man especially went above and beyond to make Mum's room look like home and always attends to anything that is needed. I am mostly impressed with how friendly the management are and are always happy to help if there is anything needed. I would most certainly recommend this care home to anyone who is looking.

Maples Care Home
This is the worst care home I have ever been to, we did not choose this care home for my grandmother the hospital would only release her to this care home and honestly, my grandmother recieved the worst care here, they were neglectful I really would not send any member of your family here it is awful for residents who cannot voice their opinions or move/care for themselves

Maples residents are our family. They are our priority we care deeply and take pride in our workplace. The new Manager has implemented changes that have changed not only the face of Maples but its body and soul. We work as one which makes us strong.
