Ive been here a few times and everytime the cake ive had have been the best ever. Im a baker myself but i struggle with chiffon, whoever bakes for half sugar definitely doesn't. Their cakes are the softest, fluffiest in the world believe me. Their rose and lychee cake is my favourite, so fresh and floral. Yes it is expensive at £4.50 a slice, but youre not going to find the unique flavours and textures half sugar offer anywhere else in Leeds. The interior of the cafe is super cute, bright and pastel with a sweet vintage vibe. The staff are really nice and helpful too. Overall my favourite place to eat in Leeds and i cant wait to come back.

Loved the desserts, they're so soft and fluffy and not too sweet. I asked the staff for a bubble tea recommendation and absolutely loved it. Got a mochi box and was absolutely amazed that they were stuffed with fruits and other things along with the ice cream, totally worth the price. The matcha lava cake was delicious too! Will visit again here surely

Cute boutique bubble tea shop, I ordered a caramel milk bubble tea with pudding & tapioca toppings and a lotus biscoff roll both mouth wateringly delicious. The shop is cosy, seating roughly 8 people at capacity with very friendly service. The only reason it didn't get the full 5 stars, is because I thought it was slightly expensive at £5.70 for the tea and £4.50 for a slice of cake, but otherwise it was a pleasant treat and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Cutest bubble tea shop ever! The decorations are absolutely adorable and makes for very cute aesthetic photo shoots. The bubble teas are freshly made and tastes so creamy and milky delicious! The brown sugar milk tea tastes amazing! But what sets this bubble tea place apart from every other bubble tea places, are the cakes! Freshly made cakes everyday, and the boba cake is the most amazing cake ever!

Went here with a bunch of friends for a birthday and we all absolutely loved it, the stuff is slightly pricey but that's just because of its quality and size. The cakes are delicious and the bubble teas are a highlight of my day whenever I go here

I cannot believe I have been inside Central Arcade many times, yet I have never noticed Half Sugar - especially as it is next door to my nail salon!On a whim, I decided to go inside today after seeing its cute pink interior from the glass window. I want to give a special mention to the girl at the counter, who was so friendly, helpful and patient. As it was my first time in the store, she thoroughly reviewed the menu with me, recommending drinks she had tried and thought I would like. I usually always order matcha, but I wanted to try something different today, so I ordered strawberry milk tea with lychee tapioca pearls.I found it a little expensive, yet that is expected with inflated rates everywhere nowadays, unfortunately. That said, I loved the tea and will definitely be back to try other drinks. However, I had a ridiculous amount of difficulty piercing the cup's plastic seal! It would be much better if the store provided plastic lids with straw holes instead of sealing the drink.

The CUTEST boba shop with great cake selection. I had taro milk tea and mango crepe cake and both were delicious
