Park in St Germans opposite the Crown and Anchor pub, small parking are by the shops. Then walk up onto the bank by the Cutoff Channel (big river) and walk up stream, past the pub on your left and past the non ruined church.20 minutes later your at the church, just before you get to the tower there is a steep path down to it. My 4 year old managed it but its a little slippery.Church is just walls, bell tower and a very quiet graveyard. It's a shame you cannot go up the tower as the spiral stairs is still intact. From the church notice board:St Peter's church is in ruins, although it is known to have been largely intact in the 1920s. All the visible structure is thought to date to the 15th century, although the tower is set inside an earlier nave west end in a very unusual fasion, creating a vaulted room in the resulting space. Today all the walls of this brick, flint rubble and stone structure are intact, though the roof, window glass and the majority of the tracery are missing. Having been only recently ruined, details such as the human and animal corbels and headstops, window seats, sedilia and piscina and aumbries all survive. The tower was struck by lightning in 2013 but has been made safe.
