We signed up for a new kitchen on or around the 21 September. We were given a price of around £12500 and they then asked for a deposit. I paid a 10% deposit. After 1 week we were knocked back on the finance, and even though I had the money, we'd just bought the house and had lots of other things to do, so money was tight. I got a quote from another company with was about £4500 cheaper so I decided to cancel on the 4th October via email to the manager of aintree store and the sales guy who helped us design the kitchen. He immediately called me back and said they could do like for like but I wasn't interested at that point. A couple of weeks later we received two emails from their delivery team asking us to finalise our order so I emailed back stating that we had cancelled.After thirty days I still hadn't received deposit back, despite their cancellation policy stating a full refund up to 28 day of delivery. I initiated a charge back with my bank and received the funds after three days.We then received two emails on the 21st November from someone on their legal team named Gabriele who wanted to know why we had initiated a charge back. I replied saying we had cancelled on the 4th and I had not received a refund as per wren cancellation policy sec 3. She then replied that my email was not on their system, despite aintree having it and my name also on their correspondence.My advice to anyone reading this is to make sure you definitely want to go ahead with them before signing up and paying a deposit as they have a tendency to hold onto your money.Below is another review from July this year with the same problem

Absolutely amazing experience. Staff very friendly, professional and helpful. Their product knowledge was great and they threw options at us that we had not even thought of.Quality of the kitchen is great and the price is very competitive. The styles, colours and options are endless!Would definitely recommend Wren kitchens.Thank you Wren, you made our dreams a reality.

From start to finish Wren were helpful and professional, Peter helped design our new kitchen and we couldn’t be happier. It was delivered on time. I had an issue with a damaged tap but I reordered one and it cane within a few days which i was really happy with. I would definitely recommend them.

Measured, but part of measurement missing so needed to be re measured, but still in correct. Poor design, faults came to light when being fitted. Top of range kitchen equivalent quality to lower grade units by other kitchen companies according to our 25yr+ experienced fitter. Some products arrived damaged. Mismatched oven and microwave sent.- waited 10 days before getting a response as to which we were keeping so no oven or micro for that time. Doors missing and due to be sent between 2 and 10 days...8 weeks later still waiting. Tower unit built and sent with 1 completely different door!! Finish decor panels don't do what they're supposed to do as not 'double sided' so finish not sleek. Aintree store manager and designer could not come to see all faults / problems as they are not insured to make visits to the home! Unsure why they couldn't come with a staff who measure if that's an issue..??!! Customer service wanting lots of photos to prove issues - again could have been quickly rectified with a visit. Hours spent on phone chasing up theses issues. Many calls ignored and not returned when trying to rectify issues. All in all AVOID BUYING A KITCHEN WITH WREN

Delighted with my new kitchen. Lovely design by Peter at Aintree store. He was so helpful and patient. Mike our Wren fitter was was brilliant, he did a great job. He was very friendly and also really helpful. Would highly recommend them both.

The overall experience with Wren has been really positive. After reading negative reviews I am so glad I stayed with Wren My designer Peter from Aintree store was so helpful and provide quality service I was so happy with the choice and quality of the kitchen and my fitter Kevin made it perfect. Can't wait to use and enjoy my new kitchen :) Thanks to all the Wren team. Would highly recommend them.

Great experience with wren.From the first home design visit to the kitchen delivery the service was excellent. Designer was Christina was always to hand for any questions. Would use wren again and would recommend .

From start to finish, our experience with Wren was easy and hassle free.Designers were always on hand to answer questions and help with the design process.Delivery was on time and everything was as it should be. We were missing on small item from the order but after using the very simple feature on the Wren app to reorder it free of charge, it turned up in less than a week.We used our own professional installers who also agreed the kitchen was built to a great standard and said it was straightforward to install.
