Staff were really lovely and helpful. Dog-friendly. Nice selection of beers on tap. Duncan runs a mean pub quiz on Tuesdays but make sure to book in advance!

This pub has such cozy vibes and warm interiors; it's a real comfort spot. I've had their Sunday roast twice and it never disappoints. The roast is absolutely yummy and they don't skimp on the beef. A perfect place for a hearty and satisfying meal!

Saturday evening it was very busy but atmosphere was warm and Christmassy. Sadly the food took over 1 hour to arrive, no one came to give us an update or offer the hungry young ones a basket of bread or even an olive...we finally were served, ate in 2 minutes and left!

We went to Rose and Crown for the first time yesteday for a Xmas lunch with 2 babies - great food and really liked the cosiness of the pub. Only had 2 hours reservation, it was too quick!
