Harewood Court

The staff here are amazing,they go above and beyond to care for the residents. They looked after both my Grandparents and treated them like they were there own Grandparents. Don't get me wrong the carehome isn't perfect but nowhere is..if you want somewhere to give there all in caring for your family member than this is the place. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for my Grandparents.

Hi all wouldn't put a dog in this home to be cared for a dear friend passed away on the 18 /09/21 they didn't have the courtesy to ring my dad even though they had his number and had been visiting for two years on most visits which was all window visits she had a broken hip broken collar bone and an arm that was black as she had broke it the care home no who I am talking about please please avoid at all cost far beeter care homes elseware

The CEO of the company only thinks of herself. Not her staff or residents.

My brother was at Harecourt until his death in February 2019. He was very well looked after and enjoyed his stay there. When his wife required 24 hour care we were successful in getting her permanent residence at the same care home. She is receiving the same standard and quality of care that my brother was treated to and we are most satisfied with the way that she is being looked after and cared for.Although she was initially registered as a respite resident, while I did some of her home modifications, the onset of the pandemic required her to become a permanent resident. She has never requested a return to her own home.

Was a really bad experience for the whole family .... Send your loved ones somewhere else whatever the cost.

I am very shocked and very disappointed with one member of staff behaviour this afternoon I had been in to visit a family member and I was insulted by a member of staff asking what race I was then she sniggering and mumbled to her self and when I said pardon she says am not talking to u.There is so much going on in the world and the lady wants to attract discrimination in a care homeShould this matter not be addressed with this member of staff who was not wearing a name badge at the time I will not hesitate under any circumstances to address this myself on my next visit!

My poor mother had several falls in this place in the period of 13 days that she spent in there. The staff called me to tell me about just one of the falls. I only found out about the others after meeting with them. They staff were no wearing PPE and my mother caught Covid and died - infected by one of the carers who called late one night to tell me as she was about to go home after her shift. Excuses given for not wearing POE - they must have been on smoking break, they must have been finishing they’re shift, one of the carers is hard of hearing and can’t hear when she wears a mask. A shockingly terrible place to put loved ones, run by people who are unreliable and unfamiliar with truth. EDIT: 26th April 2022, --- I have now been threatened by a Bev Dumont from Harewood Court Nursing Home for leaving my accurate and truthful review of the Care Home.

My dad was a resident here. The staff here go above and beyond and treat him like he was their own family. They cared for him with love and dignity, and made his last days as comfortable as possible. Not only do I miss my dad, I will also miss the kindness of the staff. X

Even worse than the CQC report says. My Mum received shocking care. We moved her as soon as it was physically possible and lodged a formal complaint with Adult Social Services and CQC.The care staff/management then proceeded to lie in their response to our complaint. Avoid at all costs.

Lovely place, amazing staff. They all make you feel really welcome and the level of care they give to the residents is second to none
