My son and I visited three years ago and expected a similar experience - things have changed. There is now no entrance fee, which is great, but there are less animals and there doesn’t seem to be any animal feeding times. The playground outside is free but the play barn is booking only and is seemingly rarely available at weekends as there are always parties in it. My son was very upset he couldn’t go in it. The gift shop has gone. The cafe cakes were lovely and the coffee nice but if you are intending more than a couple of hours or the weather is bad, I would go somewhere else.

Had a cheese toastie, expensive for what it was. Had many coffees there and very good, but wouldn't buy food again.Some salad with it or chips would've been nice but 2 slices of bread and melted cheese for£6 is not good in these times

Love this place, lovely setting and great place to grab a coffee with friends but also good to see a few animals/childrens park on site - they do start packing up at 3pm even though close at 4pm

Sadly this place seems to have gone downhill fast. It was grubby and tired. I was looking forward to taking my sister for lunch and was so sad to see how it has deteriorated. The windows needed a good clean as did the floor and tables and if someone could just be bothered to treat the leather seating it could come back beautifully. It now looks tired and neglected. We ordered avocado on sourdough with feta and we got some sliced white loaf (NOT sourdough) and a scraping of avacado with a crumble of feta and it was dry and unappetising. At £7.50 it felt a bit insulting. Very different from a year ago. None of the fab flapjack that used to be there and was really scrummy. It was just sad to see this lovely cafe screaming for some TLC and a bit of pride taken in it.

Good drinks and a great selection of cakes . Hot snacks were availableMy Victoria sponge was excellent. Staff very helpful. A good stop on our walk.

We did have a nice morning at the farm and visited the cafe after. The food was OK though not much of it for the price. The kids beans on toast was very overpriced at £4, as was the banana & ricotta toast at £5. I understand they use all biodegradable cutlery and plates but the prices are bit much. Not sure if they are catering for the more well to do that go to rhythm time or just trying to get the money out the campers. It's ashame really.
