Canine Aqua Splash

I think we must have got unlucky. Our golden retriever loves water but has never swam so we brought her here to learn how to swim. She was really reluctant to go in and in 30mins we really struggled to get her into the water. The member of staff on duty was extremely unhelpful. Throughout our entire session he was just sat watching tiktoks on his phone whilst we were struggling and the only time he paid attention to us was to tell us our time was up. From the FAQs on the website I was under the impression that the staff would be on hand to help encourage our dog into the pool. Really upset I spent £30 and didn't even get my dog swimming.

Fantastic set up. Our dog really enjoyed a first-time swim. Her confidence grew significantly in half an hour. She’s gone from not wanting to leave our arms to independently swimming, and in the end was jumping into the water all by herself ( motivated by a ball of course!) she was lend a life jacket that fit her well. Changing rooms were great. Water was clean. Staff was helpful and friendly, also kindly took these photos for us. We enjoyed our experience.

What an amazing find this place was, my only issue is that we didn't find it sooner. Exceeded our expectations, the assistant was amazing, she listened to us when we said our dog was nervous of new people and completely read the room. She was knowledgeable and we'd love to see her there next season, asset to the business. Water was warm, even at 9am in the morning! Our dog had a wonderful time. Will 100% be going back next season! We've been to Canine Aqua Splash four times this summer. Each visit has been great fun. The sessions are 30 minutes in total, and the time does go quickly so advise turning up bang on time (or slightly early). There are changing booths available in the pool area and a system to allow incoming people / dogs to be separated from outgoing people and their sessions.The team provide life jackets should your dog require one, and a large range of toys. They're helpful and on hand should you have issues, but largely let you get on with the session. To note, the pool temperature in October was notably cooler than it was in summer. Recommend wearing a t-shirt / top to stop claw scratch marks from happy dogs.

Amazing set-up. Quite a large pool, warm, with entry and exit ramp for the dog, steps for us. Good selection of life jackets (we have a large dog!) and toys. N was wonderful at helping to heft our heavy, reluctant dog into the pool several times and kept her enthusiasm up even when he wasn't playing ball. Will definitely visit again. Great setup for entry and area for changing after.

Had a brilliant time swimming with our dog Marley the grand kids loved it too.Marley who is a golden Retriever had lots of fun and exercise...didnt need walking as much in the evening, 30 minutes of swimming was enough exercise for him lol

A great experience. As it's private your dog can swim without distractions!Some people are very slow getting out and don't care if they use your time though which is a shame but common arrogance.If you can there is a nice entry and exit waiting area somyou can take your time without feeling hurried.The staff are nice and try to hurry along. They will also happily clear up everything for you which is unexpected.

First time coming here and I thought it was a good setup. First time taking my dog swimming. The member of staff in the pool was really helpful and encouraging, helping to get our dog comfortable with getting in and out of the pool.They have changing rooms here and the website is clear there are no showers; not really a problem as most visitors will be local.The pool is raised. The temperature was warm enough and was very clean. The venue provides lots of toys for the dogs to use. They also have a good selection of different sized buoyancy aids that can be used to give more confidence to the dogs.There is a ramp into the pool for the dogs to use. This could be improved with a covering to give more for the paws to grip on to, but it wasn't a big issue once the dog was used to it.We'll definitely return. Would also be nice if they offered one hour slots instead of just 30 mins.

Took my 1 year old cockapoo here today along with my fiance and 6 year old daughter. We all swam and had a fantastic time. Water is clean. Staff are friendly and there were 2 changing rooms to get dry and changed afterwards. Will be back for sure. Thanks!!
