Staff are generally nice but... I must say this is NOT a place to go for a 'quick' shop.Upper management must be awful or shy away from fulfilling their responsibilities, as there is constantly a wait here. Only one till is ever staffed, self-checkout available but the queue can easily be 15-20 people long. The remaining till can be closed without notice whilst another one opens, leaving it as a free-for-all whilst people scramble to jump into another queue with no order.I really don't like leaving negative reviews but felt that others should be aware, and hopefully management will hire more staff or look at other ways they can alleviate some of the pressure on the store during the inevitable rushes. It shouldn't be up to customers organise these things.As mentioned I am not a fan of wholly negative reviews and so in all honesty, redeeming qualities are that it is a decent sized shop with a good selection of items. Good sales on differing items weekly. Most staff are friendly.

Like the fact that there is a self checkout area. Very narrow and cramped parking in front of lidl; although you can find parent and child parking a minute walk away - closer to currys/b&m. Very nice selection of bakery in this store despite going in the evening times after work. Such a shame that there's barely any fruit and vegetables despite going earlier on in the day or any time that we visit this store in particular actually.

rubbish!! shelves not stocked, cashier looked crazy tired and said she was supposed to Finnish work 4 hours ago (this is human abuse!), the self check out machine has broken scale as every second item caused an error and the security guy when the gate rang said what did you take?! are you sure you don't know what caused that???" (I said this accusations are ridiculous and I can show him the receipt and all my shopping

Clean store, products rasonable prices, as everything else prices continue to rise but still cheaper than the big supermarkets.Worth a visit, especially the DIY section, can pick up some really good deals.

Good prices and good car parking. But I feel the staff on the tills are pushed to their limit. Could do with opening more tills when there are 4+ customers queuing.

Second time going here after one horrible experience I needed to grab a few things which then ended up being my weekly shop as I reached the tills ALL empty people with their weekly shopping all stuck doing self checkout which may I add only 3 for card was working and 2 for cash pathetic serviceA few times the self checkout was being dodgey so I asked the lady for help then again and again the third time my sister had said excuse me she told her off ? Like excuse me that your staff aren’t in the tills so this could be more quicker , manager is a lost cause and as the staff stand around looking at us as they do nothing . I really hate this store they hire young and inexperienced people .

Love this shop, friendly staff, no queues, covid aware antibacterial hand-wash still by the entrance. Just love the chargrill chicken mmm, I did complain to the manager about the filthy baskets, I said really his staff should wipe them out at the end of the shift. Today, I was delighted to see all the baskets nice and clan. I made a point of seeing the manager to tell him I was pleased and I don't just complain I also appreciate feedback/ responses. Still happy to see the baskets are kept clean

I can't shop here anymore. The shelves are either empty or goods priced incorrectly or produce is off or milk is soured or tills not working, wait is too long at the self service where some machines don't work and if you have cash it's even longer as only 2 or 3 machines can deal with that. The staff know that the management is not up to the task. The worst lidl I have ever been in.
