I came to Devonshire 5 years ago, I wanted a bit more nursing experience of dementia nursing i was only going to stay for a year. Here I am 5 years later as clinical lead. Lovely family orientated home with a fabulous team and even more fabulous residents

Devonshire House and Devonshire Lodge
When visiting my grandfather today I noticed a really lovely interaction between a nurse and two other residents where she was helping them plan their Christmas outfits, proper trinny and Susanna moment. It's so lovely to see the nurses do that when they don't think anyone is watching.

Caring, friendly, professional staff who can't do enough for you. Individual care and counselling. Lovely food. Individual menus provided. All in all, for me 'A little piece of heaven'

My mother-in-law moved to the Devonshire when she developed dementia. Everyone was so kind and caring from the start. There were lots of activities and a lovely garden, which Mum loved. As her condition deteriorated, we were kept updated at every stage and the staff were so kind and caring at the end, to Mum and to us. The staff are amazing.
