Lovely staff and really good food. I recommend this place for events or if u wanna just hang out with friends. I love Wednesdays specially. They do open mic and i really enjoyed the family like atmosphere there.Definitely u need to check this out .

Nice Little Place... Well set up... Good Staff... Went late in the afternoon on a Sunday... thought their menu was Small but the food we had was Amazing nonetheless... Very Tatsty... Don't live in those ends but if I ever find myself around there again will definitely pop in... I do Recommend The Whip and Collar

We came to the pub for a small family get together, we have never been before and it was a fantastic atmosphere,the live music was great and the food was superb. The bar staff happily replaced our drinks when it reached the end of the barrel and made sure we were happy with our drinks! They couldn't have done enough to make us feel comfortable! We will definitely be going again and can't wait to see what other music they have! All round great experience,it's a shame more people don't visit.

Pulled into the car park at this pub shortly before it opened.An Eastern European woman came out and told us we weren't customers and to get out of her car park now"So we did "get out of her car park now" and needless to say we never became customers.Edit in response to owner comment:We parked there about 9.50am and were told to "get out" a few minutes later - nowhere near 30 minutes as we were both still at our car.Their unwelcoming & aggressive attitude drove away customers and drove this review."

Amazing countryside feel and brilliant warm atmosphere. Definitely a local friendly place but it was very welcoming for us on our way along the walk. Prices decent and service was excellent. Very nice young lady working behind the bar to help us. World definitely recommend for anyone around.

First visit last night.Lovely pub, nice setting. Catered for all. The manager/owner of the pub couldn't have been nicer! Such a friendly, welcoming host.Was very quiet in there for a Friday night but still enjoyed the experience!Thank you for a lovely evening :)

Was passing through the village. Saw this pub and thought we should stop for some food and a cold beverage. So happy I did, good beer, good food and Bar staff are very friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Arrived as it opened at 12 mid day (Friday) had a nice lunch. Etc. Great pub. Would use it again anytime.
