Avoid ! Extremely poor service from this company. Placed an order on Friday (R Haynes) for delivery Monday. They took payment straight away from my card and then emailed me on the Saturday morning to say they were cancelling the order ! No refund yet so I have had to get my credit card company involved.Possible scammers ! Be aware !

Excellent customer service. Highly recommend service provided by LensPimp, if only all companies provided this standard of telephone support. Prompt courteous service supplied me with a replacement camera when mine unexpectedly failed during my holiday.

First time wanting to rent a lens, understand there will be a few questions, proof of ID etc. But when it turns into the Spanish inquisition, as mentioned in a previous company review, wanted all my social media pages, any other online presence, passport scan etc, about the only thing I wasn't asked for was my inside leg measurement, decided to bail out and cancel my order during my phone interigation.Would have felt less probed after an alien abduction or a prostate exam.May work perfectly well for others but not for me I'm afraid.*updateIn response to your reply, I understand your requirements to an extent of ID etc, but there is no requirement to know my whole online presence, as for my ID yes I blanked parts out as I also have to protect my privacy, by the time I would have provided you with everything you wanted would have had my passport number etc, my address, my driving licence number or a copy of my birth certificate, you have to provide less details for a loan, that I could have then used to buy the lens, i just feel that your checks go a little too far and are only protecting you, as it is I still managed to hire the same lense from another company with only 20% of the information requested by yourselves, also cheaper.

Friend hired a 135 Sony G master from here so I could shoot a headshot for him. Arrived in fantastic condition. Lens was perfect. Very sharp. I will be using these guys again for sure. Thanks

Was happy with the lens supplied. Met the guys at the Photography Show thought they was a great bunch of people.Now I have returned the lens and it appears to of gone walkabouts in transit.I have these guys telling me I have sent it to the wrong address and that the weight is wrong.I have Royal Mail telling me something else.Today I basically get accused of not sending the lens to them. Not happy with the after service and for this reason alone I have given this company 1 star. When they do get their lens and I get an apology I will adjust the rating accordingly.Edit: Today I have sent you an email regarding this 14 May 2018. Should you require further clarification to this I would approach Royal Mail as this is totally their mess.

In short : Great service and price. Extremely helpful at all hours via online chat. Helped me with figuring out details of the hire politely and quickly, even when I was asking obvious questions. Hire was super smooth , with them picking up the lens and dropping it off with no problems at all. I will most certainly be using these guys again.

Googled lens rental and Lenspimp showed up as one of the first choices. Emailed, and as you'd expect- sent proof of i.d. etc, had a short telephone conversation and the lens was with me next day.I will be using Lenspimp again in the close future. Great service.Thank you again,Martin.

Used this company twice with no issues, however I feel the customer service, especially over the phone, could be better. I was talked over while discussing my order over the phone, the guy seemed fed up and uninterested - Didn't feel like an appreciated customer, if I'm honest.

I've used this company several times and always find them really good. I was also really pleased they refunded me without question when I had to cancel a lens hire due to a job cancellation. Thoroughly recommend.
