Friendly helpful staff.

It's useful to have Maplin available in an emergency, and I've always found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful, but it's unnecessarily expensive. If you can wait a couple of days you can practically always get the same item cheaper online.

Ordered an item online, not from the store as it would not allow me to as delivery was direct from manufacturer. I called after 10 days to ask why on the progress it was down as processing to be told order was on hold indefinitely and the reason was unknown. Lady I spoke to left me a message apologizing and stated it was due to the manufacturer and they had no idea if it would come back in to stock and issued a refund. if I hadn't called to chase it (lady i spoke to was very nice and helpful) I'd still be waiting and then I get an email generated by Maplin asking to review the item that never arrived. I ordered from Amazon in the end, item so far I am very pleased just don't order from maplin!!

It's a toy shop now. Forgot it if you want electronics.
