Green Motion Car Rental London Heathrow Airport

Our experience with this rental company was poor. The process to get the car was really inefficiently organised and it took us more than an hour. During this period many other customers in the line had issues, so it was not just our case. If they need so much extra information they should ask customers to provide this in advance online. Furthermore make sure to take many pictures in particular of the wheels. Before we took the car they did not report any damages and told us to take pictures so then it would be fine. However at the end we were glad that we did because there was some small damage on one of the wheels and if we wouldn't have had proof they would have charged us.

I just rented car out from Green Motion in Hayes. It was a brilliant experience with Hafiz the customer service assistant. There wasn’t any waiting time at all at the lobby. He was doing all paperwork very quickly and got the car sorted. I would rate Hafiz with 5 star. I will definitely come back again. Brilliant service!!!

I had nothing but an excellent experience with Green Motion. I will have to say once I got in England and I actually read some of their reviews I got a little worried but, I couldn't have been happier. My first experience when I went to pick up the car I actually had left my passport in my hotel in London, I had taken a taxi at 6:30am to get here. The gentleman I was working with at the front desk was very helpful and actually worked it out with me for my wife to email me some pictures of my passport so I could send them to him where he printed them out. Once we got that all set he was able to get me into my rental car, now he did tell me I needed to upgrade for what I had because I had limited mileage and no GPS in the car I originally reserved. I did the reservation through a credit card with some points so I wasn't quite sure but I went ahead and did the upgrade. The vehicle I had was in really good shape, drove very well pretty updated had no issues with it at all. Dropping the car off was pretty easy as well. You pick up and drop the car off in the back of the hotel so if you have luggage with you just make sure to drop it off at the front that's where the hop on bus is. We did not know that but one of the guys in the office drove my family around so we could unload the vehicle. The hotel bus only comes like once an hour, I know Green motion does not run that but that does seem pretty inconvenient. We had just missed the bus and really needed to get heading towards our hotel, they do have an office in the front as well I spoke to a young lady and there and she ordered me a Taxi. I wouldn't have any issues renting from these guys again I just might be more involved and actually what my reservation included before I went there.

A happy experience with Green motion car rental recently in Heathrow Airport London. Very easily to pick up the car through free shuttle bus from the airport. The staffs were nice and helpful. Luckily the car was going well. My friend and I, who both are ladies, were happy with it.

Rowan was very helpful. He explained our insurance options in a clear manner and helped us get on the road quickly, even offered an upgraded car. Really refreshing after a long travel day

Everything was so easy from start to finish, nothing was a problem. We needed to extend our car hire for a few days - all sorted over email in a matter of minutes. The staff at Green Motion Heathrow were friendly and courteous - just the sort of people you need when travelling

I picked up a car for a few days while staying near Heathrow. The pickup process was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The car was clean and in good condition.I had no major problems during the rental. There was a limit of 100miles included per day so that may not suit people wanting to do day trips etc. additional miles were charged at 30p (as at 2023-Oct).The drop off process was mostly smooth. Finding the dropoff bay was not as easy - mostly due to the sign having been turned around so it wasn't facing incoming traffic.The fuel practice of returning like for like was not the easiest either. I personally prefer picking it up full and returning it full. Trying to guesstimate 3/4 isn't ideal.Overall it was a good experience and I'd use Green Motion again.

Never again.Don’t rent your car here just because it looks cheaper in the very beginning.You will end up paying much more.The staff ignored the fact I had purchased insurance on car rental platform, keep saying that I am not fully covered and I hv to buy full insurance before I take the car.When I checked the bill statement after the trip, I realised I had paid the car insurance for twice!! one from the online platform and one in person at the counter (which costs more than 220 GBP!!)Also forced us to upgrade to another car because the model I rent was “already out”, “being rented by someone else”.Making me no choice but to accept paying more to upgrade coz I took such a long way of bus ride to this inconvenient place and my parents had been waiting at the airport terminal for soo long already.Can’t afford to spend another hour or two to do car rental again at other companies or it’d just ruined our itinerary on the first day of arrival.Totally unacceptable..

We rented a car from this car rental company during my trip here. We had to catch a Hoppa Hotel Bus from the airport terminal that sent us to the car rental office located next to Holiday Inn hotel. It's an hourly bus, so be careful not to miss the bus when it arrives at the Heathrow terminals.STAFF : Extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Soheel that helped us select a better car as we intended to travel far with a 900cc Seat Leon that we booked, but Soheel explained that the frugality of the car is bad. So, he recommended the 1.5L VTI MG ZS which was more economical. He took the effort and length to explain as well about the insurance coverage also. Priced reasonably.CAR : Good condition, it was a pleasure driving such a fun car. Slight issue with the luggage as we had two 28 bags which was a hassle to fit in the boot with additional 2 hand carry bags as well. The fuel economy was excellent. We highly recommend this car rental company."

I did not read reviews until we landed in London and became very nervous about our car rental choice. I was surprised with the service and rental and would use them again. The staff were very friendly and detailed. The area is a little dodgy and not convenient but you get what you pay for. It is not easily accessible from Heathrow. The rental office is on the Holiday Inn property. We took transit there and had to take an Uber to the airport due to transit timing when we returned. When returning your rental, make sure to put the Holiday Inn address versus Green Motion. Our GPS kept putting us back on the highway ramp with no entry to the property.
