Saints Funeral Services

We couldn’t have wished for a better service from Saints, from our first meeting with Darren Saint and Paul Thomas at their beautiful and calming premises in St Ives, right through to the day itself. They were gentle and understanding, difficult aspects were broached sympathetically, and they put themselves out to meet our requests, however last-minute. They had lots of imaginative ideas for Mum’s funeral that wouldn’t have occurred to us, such as the cortege driving to her care home en route to church, so her friends could say goodbye, and afterwards a text to let us know the grave furniture was in place, with a photograph of the flowers laid on top.We were impressed that once we told Darren and Paul what sort of flowers we had in mind that they were able to recommend the perfect florist, Margaret Sobey of Sweet Williams. This comes from their local knowledge: they clearly had a good relationship with the vicar too, which, had we not been part of a church community, would have put our minds at rest. Their appearance was impressively smart without being overly showy, and in the churchyard, after the service, their presence was sensitive and reassuring.

Saints offered a lovely service with a personal touch. I can’t thank them enough, Darren and the team made sure every need and request was taken care of which made an already upsetting time just that little bit easier.I would highly recommend them when that difficult time comes and the setting above Porthmeor is just beautiful.Thank you from Niall, Chris and Dawn.
