We recently dealt with Hartlaw for a buying a property. We had nothing but excuses after excuses, not responding for weeks on end. Giving very aggressive responses. The vendors solicitors was and we had nothing but issues from the outset and we felt like we were being lied to. I was made aware by the estate agents that they were having issues with other cases. All in all don’t use them as they will cost you business and a property sale like they did for us.

All views my own. Very little proactive seen by the conveyancing team here, lack of follow through, and clarity in communications during property sale. This lead directly in my opinion to the sale falling after many months of time and effort from us, avoid is simply the word I would use.

HartLaw recently handled the sale & purchase of my elderly mother's property. The entire conveyancing team were excellent and went out of their way to personally support my Mum over and above what I would expect. Both my Mum and I were extremely happy with the service provided. While the solicitor for the vendor dragged their heels, HartLaw were efficient, responsive, professional and friendly. They have provided helpful advice throughout and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

As with other reviews very little work done, sale fell through due to time taken, now I have a bill for £466 for basically nothing. Even tho the buyer contacted them and was suppose to pay the fees, hartlaw says I'm there client so I need to pay.Discussed with the service

Alot of money for no results.Complaint handled internally with no result.On 3 occasions instruction was given to approach insurance company for help with potential civil claim. Instruction ignored.Claim had to be abandoned after spending thousands of poundsWould not use again

Appalling law firm. My family have been involved with this firm for many years and unfortunately we cannot break free from them. They are trustees of my parents trust funds since 2011…and I have had nothing but trouble since that time. I was a trustee specified by my mother and they had me removed in Court without any legal help and are now in control of the entire estate and trusts funds. I am supposed to have the income of the estate and have had nothing since 2019. Just before she died my mother was going to move to another firm due to mistakes made by this company but died before she was able to complete this business.

We recently purchased a property and William Olayiwola dealt with the transaction. William was, at all times, polite, friendly and approachable. He was proactive and we were very impressed by his professionalism. This should have been a simple property purchase, hindered by the disappointing attitude of the Seller's Solicitors ,and the Estate Agents,(Thomlinsons). This transaction would not have progressed to completion had it not been for William's expertise and we are very grateful for all he did.We would have no hesitation in recommending him and wish him every success in his career.
