Visited with my family while on a day out shopping at Liverpool One.Very good service. Staff were polite and friendly.Ordered drinks and then food.Delivery of drinks and food was quick.Everyone loved the pizzas.RECOMMENDED 5*

This pizza express is based at the top of Liverpool one with a load of other restaurants.You can make a reservation to secure a table or you are able to walk in and see what they have available when you are ready. I visited with a party of 4 and as you can see the table we were placed on was only very small so if you would like a bigger table I would suggest making a reservation.The restaurant was very busy when we visited and there is not much space between tables so this might be something to think about.The staff are friendly and will check into make sure everything is ok. The food did not take to long to arrive and was delicious.I would like to visit again in the future.

Visited with my wife and two kids for a late lunch and was absolutely fantastic. Joao and the team couldn't do enough for us, even happily accommodating our requests for items that hadn't been on the menu for years!! Atmosphere in the restaurant was fantastic as well, just what was needed after a morning shopping.

Initial service was pleasant, the lovely brunette lad who helped seat us prewarned there was a half hour wait on food but we were happy to wait.It took twenty minutes for someone to come over to take our drink and food order. We only wanted two cokes and by that point already decided on what we wanted food wise.The dough balls we got were lovely. However when I asked to have no cheese in my main dish, I was met with a stunned look before being told it couldn’t be accommodated for and would still be in the sauce of what I wanted. I ordered anyway, however this isn’t a good reflection of flexibility restaurant wise incase anyone was allergic simply because it was more effort.It took fifty minutes for our mains to come and in that time no one had come over to check on us. The food arrived warm. Neither dish actually had any flavour to it. It was just lukewarm pasta. No one checked back on us during or after the meal. It took us a half hour from that point to actually get our bill, I wanted more drinks but by that point I was so over the service and wanted to leave/spend my money elsewhere.

Walked in at 7.15 on a quiet Wed night and no one waiting. Place had, at best 30% tables filled.Staff member refused to give me a table for one as 'we're only taking reserved bookings tonight'. Walked past a bit later - still a third full.Avoid as they clearly don't want customers in case they actually have to do some work.

I decided to eat here because I've been here before and it was nice but had a very different experience this time.I walked in and there was no one to seat me so waited in the doorway for 10 minutes, then a girl walked in from outside, handed me a menu and lead me to a table without saying a word.I sat down, looked at the menu and saw that lots of items had been removed and the rest had undergone price hikes. I was given approximately a minute to read the menu before I was asked what I would like, I ordered pasta that I had ordered several times prior and a coke.The pasta cost £15 and a small glass of coke cost £4,I'm aware that we're in a cost of living crisis and am willing to pay a bit more but what I expect is for the food to be good or even just to the same standard that it was. The food I received was mostly inedible. I was given a small bowl of pasta with barely any sauce that was luke warm, watery and somehow both undercooked and burnt, I wasn't offered pepper or parmesan (I actually saw other customers go to the kitchen window to get some because they hadn't been offered it either) I ate what I could which was about half a bowl.Despite there only being 5 other customers the waitress took 20 minutes to ask if I wanted my bill then brought over the card machine, put it on to the gratuity screen and stood behind me, I didn't want to tip anything but felt uncomfortable so tipped £2 which brought the total of my meal to over £20 for half a bowl of cold, burnt, tasteless pasta and a small coke.I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Myself and my family had a wonderful meal in Pizza Express Liverpool One on our first night in Liverpool. I was delighted to see they had such an extensive gluten free menu! Our service Sadie was superb, and went above and beyond for us during our visit. From food recommendations, to ensuring my little boy (almost 2) was looked after - she even filled his water bottle for us instead of a cup (which I can guarantee would have gone everywhere!). Sadie then packed up our dessert as we needed to get the little man back to bed. Sadie has genuinely been the nicest server I have ever met and would be the main reason we would return/recommend.The food was delicious, between 5 of us we had pizza, lasagne and pasta, all of which came quite quick to our table and can honestly say we enjoyed every bite.

Top place ! I do love the menu now 10 years ago I thought it’ was terrible ! But I do think it’s still over priced ! Staff were fantastic! Tables are clean & seating is amazing! Beautiful restaurant! The dough balls are to die for !

Visited here a couple times and always lovely and attentive staff. Took care of us very well and food was excellent! Also made us aware of the pizza express rewards app and we even managed to get some free dough balls for signing up!
