She ruined a £130 dress that was supposed to fit me but she first did it too loose and uneven then too tight and now I can't get it fixed anywhere because there was no fabric left in the seam to let a bit out. Quick and bodged job.I am so annoyed, I wish I hadn't returned to her to fix the 1st time and gone to Asda drycleaners for altering or anywhere else.If you have a dress you really love and want done well or at least not messed up irreparably then avoid this person.

Perfect alteration of a jumpsuit .Very reasonable price for a beautiful job

Very friendly to begin with, but ruined several pieces of my clothing :-( Took the hem of an £80 dress up way too short so it had to be binned (the dress had never been worn); put an iron mark on the front of my evening dress; took the pads out of the evening dress bodice as requested but didn't sew it up properly so there were gaping holes on the inside of the dress; took in the sleeves of a denim jacket but not nearly as much as requested -- I had to do it again myself. Plus she left some sort of hemming or mending tape stuck in the sleeve of the denim jacket (no idea what it is, but I can't get it out as it's sewed into a seem); put a new zip in jeans but the zip was cheap and didn't stay up (just like the old zip I'd asked to be replaced!). And after all this Marie still wanted paying, even though she'd ruined my clothes. Terrible! Be aware!

Very friendly and great service. Really happy with the adjustments on my clothing and will be coming back.
