Moundsley Hall Care Village
I’ve worked at Moundsley hall for nearly 10 years they helped and encouraged me to to work towards my NVQ2 and 3. Within a few years they trained me to administer medication and I became a team leader. This family run company encourage all staff to progress I feel very fortunate to work here.Staff are trained and shown around by a team leader then put with a member of staff who will work closely with them for the first few shifts to help them become comfortable, new starters are encouraged to ask as many questions as they like or need.

Moundsley Hall Care Village
It was with a heavy heart that we made the hard decision to move our Auntie to into full-time care. We shouldn't have worried, the care she receives at Moundsley House is exceptional. Her physical and emotional needs are seen to daily. All the staff are incredible; kind, caring, thoughtful and respectful. They are always mindful of her dignity and need for independence. There is a friendly, happy and inclusive feel to the village and communication is excellent between the home and ourselves, I feel we were so fortunate to find such a wonderful home for Auntie.

My husband was diagnosed with dementia seven years ago.for the last six months he was In Moundsley.,having previously been in two care homes.These six months were the best ever, the care was over and above,the staff and management were so loving towards him.His final days were made extra special to us as a family, and we were treated absolutely amazing,they looked after us as they had for my husband.Anyone who has to be cared for here are extremely lucky .We,asa family, cannot praise them enough.I will never forget them and everything they did for him and us.

Horrendous experience. My Father was neglected, starved, left on the floor, faulty equipment known about but not fixed. Left in pads for 12 hours as run out of them. Records fraudulent, completed to say staff had repositioned him every hour when family hadn't seen anyone for 4 hours. Not enough carers, not enough hoists. They had his wrong DOB for entire stay. Final straw was social worker finding medication in his mouth and on the floor. I have many photos and complained to cqc.I got him out asap.

After looking for a while for a care home I came across Moundsley. We visited and immediately my loved one felt like it was home from home. Beautiful grounds ,excellent staff, excellent care and a very professional management team that ensured all of our needs would be met. I couldn’t recommend a better place for a loved one to be. I currently work at moundsley hall in the activities department and I can honestly say it’s a great place to work! The thing I most enjoy about activities is the variety of games, crafts, movies afternoons we do. Putting smiles on faces and seeing residents take part in activities is my biggest sense of achievement.

After looking round multiple care homes for my Nanna we eventually decided on Moundsley! We couldn’t have been happier with our choice and the outstanding level of care and compassion that she was shown we will be forever grateful for. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much
