Church of St Mary the Virgin

Love this building. Was brought up in Kempsford so know it very well

St marys at kempsford is a barnstormer of a parish Church. Frequented by Kings and Geoffrey chaucer in the past, it still has that wow factor now. The main draw is the lancastrian rose centred ceiling, however there are many things inside to be distracted by, tombs , stain glass the font to name but a few. If you like churches add this to the list of must sees

The church and grounds is maintained in top condition. Even more exciting was to find ancestral head stones
