Valley View Caravan & Camping Site

Very friendly greeting from owner John.Had 2 wonderful nights in our new to us caravan,views across the valley amazing.John is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area,nothing was too much trouble for him,we will be back

The site looked fine despite some appalling weather but the access road was in such a bad state that I turned around for fear of damaging my car let alone take a caravan down it

Great little campsite.Basic but perfectly adequate facilities, well maintained pitches, a warm welcome from John on arrival who was friendly and helpful through our short stay, and there's some great dog walks & cracking pubs almost on your door step! Will definitely be back!

Cheap and cheerful. Host John provides a warm welcome on arrival, answering all our questions by phone before we booked. The road to the site is in a sorry state (this can't be helped by the campsite as it's public). We've been up (slowly) in a regular family car and a Transit van without issue. The site is small, with lovely views. It's the only place I think my kids have been happy to spend a second night - it's so quiet, but friendly. The facilities are basic and could do with a good scrub, but if you're a regular camper you know how to have a baby wipe wash and clean up after yourself. Little shops and villages nearby. The nearest corner shop is a ten minute walk, even if you stroll, is fairly well stocked and the staff are welcoming. Good walks. It's right at the top of the hill, pack plenty of layers and your woolly hat even in summer if you're in a tent. There's little shade so you'll also need your factor 50. Bring a good book, enjoy some peace!

Absolute gem of a place ,The views are just amazing and the owner John was very welcoming and friendly. Lots to do around the surrounding area , short walk in to the village and you have pubs,take aways etcThe best bit for me was night time overlooking the whole town with all the lights beneath you , Will definitely return again soon .

We didn't know what to expect here on arrival. The campsite looked small upon entry but opened up as we entered the ground. Looked after field with beautiful views. Great location to walk from with several lovely pubs and eateries near by.Top this off with a visit from the lovely owner. What a happy, friendly chap he is. Fires and doggos are allowed too. Elsan n water plus a porta loo and stand alone urinal on site. Really reasonable price too.

Views are just incredible, watching the birds flying below you sets the scene! Amazing. We popped by to check the site out and were treated with a fly over from a Lancaster Bomber and Golcar Lily music in the valley. John was a diamond host and a pleasure to talk with. My old home town so for pub Dusty Miller, easy route into Lindley for good food and good choice. Didn’t check facilities, but if a chill out, nature and views are up your street, it’s a winner!

Down to earth.Basic campsite that enables you to enjoy yourself.. ( not a list of rules that bans everything)Really good view of the valley, and great location to catch the sun.
