Wonderful company and fantastic staff! The staff went above and beyond to help us find a new dining set and outdoor furniture. Gave us lots of time, support and advice. Staff helped with delivery and gave all round excellent customer service.The furniture is beautiful and of excellent quality, we are really pleased with it all. Will definitely be buying again and 10/10 recommend!

Ordered a desk, a cabinet and a couple of other little bits from here. Absolutely love them, delivery was slightly delayed but managed fabulously by the team. The only thing I would say is that the polish is very strongly scented, need to air the room after using.

The garden table I bought from them in May started to fall apart in just a few weeks - there seemed to be something wrong with the glue. I was really annoyed, but their customer support was quite good and they did not quibble on sorting out the issue - so I've amended my review up to 2 stars

Ordered the garden furniture last summer (June 2021) and unfortunately experienced the long delay due to the pandemic shipping problems. When the items did arrive (November 2021) we received a broken table and a chair that was cracked and gnawed on by mice. Customer service did take care of both issues promptly, which was greatly appreciated.What has been disappointing is that less than a full year later the table slats have split or cracked in multiple places and I have needed to glue it back together. The armchairs are unstable - sitting near the front edge of the seat tips the whole thing forward - and all the hex bolts holding it together don't stay tightened so everything feels very flimsy. I can see the wood is cracked at several joints and around the bolt holes so I feel it is only a matter of time before it collapses below me.Other reviews have mentioned a manufacturing change - while I have nothing to compare it to before the change, and am not impressed with the quality of products I have received. Unfortunately I will not be a repeat patron due to the significant deterioration of the items experienced after less than a full year of use.

Lovely table and chairs but we ordered in April as the item showed in stock. We were emailed shortly afterwards to say it was not in stock but expected soo, then again when the item didn't arrive in the shipment. We eventually received it at the end of June. We waited in all day for the delivery which never came and Customer Services (I imagine pretty overwhelmed with these issues) didn't update us despite our two calls. When the item eventually arrived the driver quite clear he was never due in our area on the delivery day we'd be given. I think supporting staff to provide good communications would be helpful.

I purchased some items from this company, although there was a long wait for delivery the items were worth it. We had a few problems along the way but Sustainable Furniture were quick to sort things out. I would highly recommended this company.

What a disappointing company. No communication about my order in the six weeks since I paid in full for my chairs but have phoned this company on 5 occasions to find out about my order. I was actually told on the 3rd time of phoning that my chairs were ready for delivery & that I'd be contacted when they had a delivery date. I live less than 10 miles from St.Austell & I even offered to collect the items. Finally today I was contacted for the first time with the news that my order was labelled incorrectly. I was offered other chairs which I don't want, I suspect that my order was delivered to someone else. I wanted to use a small, local company who would appreciate & fulfil orders speedily in this current climate, but I was wrong. I wish I had read the other reviews before ordering. Please don't make my mistake.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have had from Sustainable Furniture and would not recommend them as a reliable provider of Garden Furniture. I made a £2,500 order in June for an 8 person garden table which was showing as in stock and could be delivered in 3-5 working days. I was then informed that it would take 8 weeks and there were problems with their supplier. I waited patiently for 5 weeks and called up to check on my order to find out that no tables would be ready until end of the year. Given I had paid £2,500, I found it extremely unprofessional that the business didn't contact me about this change and instead kept the money until I reached out. If you want a reliable service, go elsewhere - nothing very sustainable about this business, certainly not managing customers expectations.

Never againI ordered a bench and fixings from this company. The bench arrived and we booked in with a customer to install it. When we opened the package we found there were none of the ordered fixings. The companies response was they are in the post and do not get delivered together.No indication of this when ordering or paying.Reluctant to give them a single star.

I am sorry to be leaving a fairly negative review. The teak garden furniture I ordered has the potential to be great. Most of it is. Sadly, (and I understand a new supplier is largely to blame), I had a number of issues with my order. Firstly, having ordered and paid online (over £1500), I was informed that the extending table, six chairs, parasol and cushions would be delayed by a month due to huge demand. When the items did finally arrive (minus the parasol and seat cushions), the table hadn’t been finished properly - holes weren’t drilled, brass fixings were the wrong size. I finished the missing holes off myself and put the table together with the correct fixings when they (eventually) arrived from the company a few days later. That table is now fine. One of the arm chairs had a number of manufacturing faults culminating in it wobbling and flexing badly. I tried to tighten the arm bolts and make the best of it. In comparison to the other similar one, it was clearly inferior. That defective chair was replaced but the replacement arrived and was even worse than the original. Still not screwed together properly. Saw marks at joint junctions. Lack of sanding in other places. The whole thing flexing badly.The seat cushions I originally ordered were going to be an additional month in the colour specified. I had to order a different colour to get them more quickly. Not a big deal, but another problem. I was given a refund which represented less than 10% of the total order (all this before the latest replacement chair arrived).All in all, this has been a disappointing and somewhat frustrating purchase. I am not given to overreacting about the odd issue, but given all the other issues with this order, to be sent a replacement chair that was also defective was really not good enough. I would expect that amongst all your orders, you might have checked mine just to make really sure it was ok before you sent it out? Customer service people were all lovely, but ultimately the products I received were not up to the standard I was expecting. First world problems - faulty teak garden furniture. Please do better. I always give credit where it’s due.
