Abbey Gates - Automatic Gates Glasgow

Abbey Gates fitted our gate yesterday (08.09.21) and we are delighted with how it looks. Both workers were highly professional, polite and hard working. The gate itself (and the fittings) is outstanding. To be honest, the pictures on their website don't do the finished product justice - seeing the gate fitted and functioning is wonderful. The workmanship is of a very high quality and it is obvious that the gate is built to last. The workers also cleaned up after themselves, leaving our path clean and tidy. 10 out of 10 and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. We would have no hesitation in using Abbey Gates in the future for any further projects we have. Thank you for a great job!!

We used Abbey Gates to install a double width driveway with composite gates. The workmanship is excellent and the installation process was very smooth. They have been great is helping with some issues (not caused by them). We have used them for annual maintenance and been pleased with the service.Would happily recommend them if looking for high quality gates.

We had a great experience with Abbey Gates. They fitted two pedestrian gates and an electric composite gate for our new office in Milngavie and we couldn'y be happier with them. Thanks to Abbey metals for making our gates. We tried other people and they weren’t interested in what they called a wee job. John and the boys sorted the whole drive entrance and our gates are perfect. We feel secure in the house. I never knew they’d look so good as well. We love the auto opening - no need to get out the car to push the old ones out the way, especially in this weather! Thanks for everything.

Abbey Gates were the recommended installer of our new gates purchased from Penchard Ltd. At short notice Abbey Gates carried out a survey, arranged for the preparatory works and installation works were then completed quite quickly afterwards. A follow up post installation visit was also made to ensure works were of a high standard. I needed handrails installed at my house and contacted Abbey Gates as they had previously carried out work for my daughter. Communication was good and they turned up when they said the would. I am really pleased with the finished installation which improves safety and enhances the appearance of the property. Highly recommended.

Great work on a stair railing and banister. Really quality look and feel, and exactly as we had requested, delivered very quickly considering they were made to measure.Front garden gates now installed after me delaying for a while as I had to finish my patio before having it installed. Thank you Abbey Gates for making us a beautiful new hand rail to accompany our new garden steps. We live in a Victorian house and have existing wrought iron railings that were in need of restoration, next to our new steps. Abbey Gates were able to source authentic Victorian uprights to blend in with our existing hand rails. They did an fantastic job and we can’t stop admiring our new hand rail. They were always prompt, considerate, provided a great service and worked really hard on site. We can’t thank them enough and I would recommend them to anyone needing any gates, iron fencing or rails. The new railings enhance our property and are a beautiful addition to our home and will be used and enjoyed for many years to come.
