You couldn’t get much closer to the river. Lovely site. All very clean. Plenty of wash room facilities and very well kept grounds.

St Neots Camping and Caravanning Club Site
Lovely site right on the river, however, there is an ancient wood next door, which is currently being decimated and creating a serious amount of noise from the chainsaws - nothing on the website nor did they mention this when we checked in.There are some beautiful walks from the site, but there is always a mainline train track nearby with trains running all through the night. Ok when it's cool and you can keep your windows shut, but when it's 30deg you need the windows open to try and get any sleep.St Neots is only a 3/4 mile walk from site and is a lovely market town with numerous shops, cafes and pubs.We had lunch at Bridge House that overlooks the river and would highly recommend it

A quite large site in a wonderful location next to the Great Ouse, walking distance of St Neots town. A choice of hard or grass pitches. Toilet blocks very clean, and showers are fixed to the wall, but temperature is controllable. 4 hooks on the door to hang your kit, ample. No shop on site, and no children's play area, however there is a play area at the entrance to the driveway of the site, and many varied walks from the site. Dog friendly.

Stayed one night, bit pricey for out of season. 15 mins walk into Town. Showers & toilets nice and clean and warm. Good facilities. Lovely location by the river, nice walks around the area. Was told to leave by 12, such a shame as it wasn't full. Not even 24hrs as we arrived at 3ish, The day before . So very pricey. Good washing machines and dryer there. Friendly staff.

Rooms were open and airy, sorry Google maps asks what the rooms are like. Clean facility, some of the rules are a little tight, generally enforced by the members. Showers were clean and functional, no coi s required, Power points were a bit random. Ability to book spaces beside each other was frustrated by the staff. I'm sure a better booking system could help with booking beside each other. It was still a nice experience

Excellent club site, well positioned for shops, cafes and takeaways. Well manned and the river position was lovely. Great to watch (or take part if wanted) the fishing, canoing and wild swimming. Will definitely come back here.

Having moved on from the Hertford C&C site we arrived in the 1pm rush hour but didn't have to queue for long. There were plenty of staff to move people along reasonably quickly. Our warden (older chap, possibly the manager) was friendly and helpful in advising us on pitches. We were warned about access to the site and it was tortuous through a housing estate. The site is located on the river but as the towpath is public, the site is accessible to anyone. The toilet block keypads were out of action therefore open to all. Facilities were kept clean although in one block there was a large wet patch near the basins which wasn't cleaned up immediately. The site is walking distance into St Neots and great for kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and fishing. The site was very busy with a lot of changeover which made it feel very impersonal. Most campers were friendly, the washing up area being the place to chat whilst doing those mundane chores.

Lovely campsite on the banks of the river ouse. Good flat pitches well spaced out and immaculate toilets/showers. Good location for exploring on foot. Olive Indian Restaurant at the top the road is well worth a visit for sit in or takeaway.
