Moorbrook Fishery

Most beautiful hidden away wonder. Went on a bank holiday so was having trouble finding somewhere for lunch, followed the sign for ages and it's a bit out the way but so worth it! Food was delicious, customer service was great and the area is spectacular!!

Took a friend fishing for the first time, he may never fish again. Cost us £24 for1/2 day, the ponds were dirty, pontoons were not fit for purpose and we never caught a thing, apart from weeds. The top pond was unfishable because of weeds,.First day I've ever blanked and will never be back, pity as it used to be a good place for novices

Very poor. Was going there for 2-3 years with my wife until today, which will be my last. We had a very poor coffee. It was not as good as it normally was. The manager had the cheek and the immaturity to argue with us. She said she tried the coffee later when it was cold and said it tastes as it normally was, which is obviously a lie as I saw her member of staff pour the coffee down the sink. Deplorable!! Sad to think they treat a regular customer like this after two years of consistently going there. Hope karma slaps them in the face.So many other good places to choose from around our fabulous coast which offer better service and product.I recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Stopped here at the Bistro Cafe. Great menu, great food and good service. Thoroughly recommend this place. Lovely peaceful setting beside the Trout Fishery.

Moorbrook is great we were there and had great coffee and the kids loved playing on the swings seesaw and slide. Then walking around the fishing lakes was a exploration joy for them

Went along for 4 hours fishing with three friends, Will made the trip super fun and helped the guys who had never fished before. He went outo of his way to make sure we had fun even lending us a large brolly for the rain. I will definitely be back.

Been here a few times fishing and it's very good if you use the right baits
