I had Lasik eye surgery with the iDesign treatment. I've now got better than 20/20 vision!The staff in both Shrewsbury and Birmingham (where I got the Op done) were/are fantastic. I really can't recommend the process enough, my only regret is not doing this sooner.

I went to an appt in Shrewsbury and currently have mobility issues. 4 flights of steep stairs later, I was really struggling. Does not meet accessibility requirements.Also the optician tried to force me to have both eyes done and then, as I rose to leave, reluctantly agreed he could do just one. A young and I thought arrogant man. No concern about my specific needs, and I had no confidence in him.

I had Lasik surgery at the Bridgewater Clinic in Manchester, referred through Optical Express Shrewsbury. Both places were very efficient and helpful and the staff were very friendly and professional. All options were explained fully and all possible side effects were covered but I did feel a little bit of a hard sell" to have lens replacement even though I explained that my budget didn't stretch that far and I didn't want to take a finance agreement.Overall a good service and follow up checks made sure my eyes were functioning slightly better than expected so I am very pleased with the result."

Warm and welcome staff, very efficient. Free consultation to successful operation within a month. Slightly sore eyes afterwards but had some extra appointments to confirm no issues. Better than 20/20 vision 24 hours after op.

I arrived for my 11 am appointment and was greeted by Kirstie the Patient advisor. Kirstie took some details and explained very clearly what would happen during my appointment, she was very polite and I felt very at ease as she conducted some eye tests. Once happy Kirstie reffered me to Emma the Optometrist. Emma took some more details and asked questions about any previous eye problems before starting complex testing of my eyes. Very Proffesional polite and charming, Emma explained each test to me and I felt very comfortable with her. The whole experience of my appointment was pleasant and the staff are clearly well above their game and highly proffesional in excecuting their respective duties. I would highly reccomend OpticalExpress Shrewsbury to anyone requiring Eye surgery.
