Armstrong And North Opticians

Pritpal has been looking after my eyes for over 15 years now. When I first saw him I was in despair because other opticians had failed to correctly diagnose what was wrong with my sight. I have a complex prescription with short sight, astigmatism and a squint and Pritpal has this remarkable ability to be able to understand not just how my eyes work but how exactly I see things and with what distortion before sorting out the right glasses and lenses for my needs. I cannot rate him highly enough for his patience and expertise - without ever any pressure to buy anything. Allthough I live across the Bristol Channel from Armstrong and North in Newport I will always be more than happy to travel to see him.I recommend Pritpal to anyone - but especially if you have more complicated problems with your eyesight.

Staff are extremely helpful and always a pleasant experience. They went into detail about my son’s eyes and reassured me about any concerns I had. Highly recommend.

I recently took my 6 year old daughter for an eye test here after she was complaining of headaches and eye pain.The receptionists were both very friendly and welcoming, and really helpful with arranging appointments.The optometrist was amazing with my little girl and made her feel very important. Within 30 minutes he performed several tests, diagnosed the issue, explained the need for glasses and helped my daughter choose some frames.After returning for one further appointment the following week, my daughter's glasses were prescribed and ready to be picked up just one week later. Incredibly efficient service.Huge thanks to all the team, cannot recommend them enough!

I had eye surgery 4 years ago and must say that the eye test I had today was more thorough than the one for surgery.Everything was explained and demonstrated in some cases. I am very confident in recommending this practice to anyone. Any exemplary service.
