Big shout out to our host Ellie and the whole team at Breakout, love the new location (we’ve visited the old ones at High Street and Town Hall) and am excited with the new space and themes they have planned. Really accommodating and welcoming hosts who were really enthusiastic, which was really refreshing compared to other places we’ve been to recently. We did the Clue themed room which had lovely theming and some old school fun puzzles! Thank you for making our 3 year wedding anniversary really fun! We look forward to returning to try the rest, especially the new one you mentioned!

It was out first attempt at a breakout out room, and the initial instructions were explained well allowing us to get started.The hints given were timely, giving us time to figure out ourselves and hint when we were stuck.The staff were lovely and we had a great hour with the variety of different puzzles.

Amazing experience! We played the forsaken room and was thoroughly entertained. The staff (especially Rachel and Simon) were nothing but lovely and very helpful. Overall would recommend, will definitely come back:)

Three of us had inadvertently booked a room we'd completed last time! But they managed to slot us in to the most advanced room, which we ALMOST escaped! Haha. The staff member was great. The experience was great. Breakout is great. Go. If you've never done this before, this is THE place to go to. Enjoy!

Me & my husband were the first to try “murder on the dancefloor” today, and it was brilliant!! A great concept, really fun theme, just stressful enough and with a couple of clues we managed to break out- we would highly recommend!

We did the Unsolved room today as a duo and it was so much fun! The puzzles were varied and interesting, lots of different types of locks. We escaped with 6 minutes to go, not bad considering my boyfriend hadn't done one before! The staff are lovely too. We can't wait to do another room!

Really disappointed. Started off great, staff were friendly and theme was interesting but got stuck on a puzzle halfway through that the staff couldn't even solve when attempting to show us how it was done after our time had run out. Either the prop/clue was wrong or positioned to the point it was utterly unusable. Either left feeling disappointed, not worth the two hours travel or the £50 spent.

Had the best experience here (Newton St location). Fantastic room, puzzles were varied and the difficulty was pitched perfectly (managed to escape with just a few minutes to spare). The clues came, thankfully, when needed but only when needed. Staff were polite and cheerful. Will definitely be coming back for more.
